while i don't plan on changing race, even if we had male viera, it's the message SE sent that i really don't like, it keeps repeating the stereotype that females should be sexy and males should be powerful, and i'm not sure i want to play in a fantasy world with that kind of outdated and sexist rules. :/
this game has been praised many times for its equality in armor for both genders, praised also for adding male miqotes and fem roes a good while back, i can't believe they're doing all of this all over again.

I'm unsubbing until male Viera are added, sorry devs. I love the game, but I have been hoping for this for a really long time (well before Viera were confirmed or hinted at coming to the game). I understand this is probably a little childish, but I'm not worried about appearing that way.

I'm happy the Ronso crowd got their race, but I'm very disappointed we've yet again taken the route of "men big manly" and "women sleek sexy". Games with genderlocking in races and classes NEVER keep my attention. Black Desert looks great, for example, but my favorite classes are female only so I just can't bring myself to play it.

Unfortunately, between BLU, no male Viera, and (so far) no healer... I'm just really let down.

Please consider bringing us male Viera very soon.

I really dislike the path they took with the new races, and I'm also surprised that they decided to do it like this. Still, there are many other cool things besides the new race, so I personally would never even think about quitting over such a thing. I love the characters we already have and those aren't going anywhere.

Also, I don't lose hope that we might eventually get male Viera for another expansion!

Sounds reasonable to me. It's a game, which has no impact on my tangible life. I have other things to be doing, so if it's not making me happy, why bother?

Its a bit funny. "How dare you unsub over this, if you do that you are no true FF fan and never liked it at all." I hope that those that have such a view also love and played every single FF game (including the often hated FF13 and FF15) because otherwise you are not a true fan!

Or maybe: Content x, Y, Z was already not that great. Decision A was bad too. I wont stay if decisions B (races) is also bad.

Here's a question: why are any of you disappointed by not having "feminine males," when there were NO implications male Vieras are like that? It seems silly to make that assumption just by looking at the females. The concept makes them look about as macho as male Miqo'te or Elezen.
