Wtf, SE?

- We get a tank, but-ha-no healers in SB. So far, no healers in SH either

• DNC for healer!
- Jokes on us, it's DPS

• We ask for Viera
- They tease us with male bunny outfits, but viera is female-only

• We ask for Miqo'te and Roe to no longer be genderlocked
- They give us male miqote's and female roes, but hey! Genderlocked races are back!

Also - I love Ronsos, they're one of my favourite races in FF of all times. However...if Au Ra, by lore, was almost too iffy for ARR lore with how apprehensive and fearful Eorzeans were toward beastmen (which looked like beasts), how is a fully furred anthro person with a completely animalistic face going to pass in Eorzea when a partially scaled yet completely human-faced au ra was potentially iffy? Also, why are dwarves a beast tribe while Hrothgar are not? Does this make any sense, because it seems pretty backwards based on our other beast tribes. I could accept Hrothgar just fine even if it is iffy lore-wise, but... not as genderlocked. Not if it means viera are genderlocked either.

Of all the years I've been playing FFXIV (been playing since 1.0 off and on, and them 2.0 more regularly), I have never been so disappointed continuously to the point I don't think I can support the game unless it cleans up its act. I love the new areas and I was so looking forward to SH, but I feel like I've (and maybe hundreds if not thousands of other people) have been continuously shat on in every letter. I earnestly regret pre-ordering the expansion.

Here's hoping they realise they've made some very poor choices in the past several months.

-As far as BLU...they said that they would probably introduce it in some sort of mini game form. So they did.

-As far as DNC goes? Yeah, that was a surprise. Think everyone expected it to be a healer. Healers still deserve something though so the disappointment with this version of DNC is understandable.

-Gender locked races? Eh, whatever. Male Viera were highly requested though so the frustration for this is also understandable.

-Ronsos? I'm all for them. Truly. I just wish they were a bit less bulkier.

From the trailer I think Dancer may be a Support DPS like Bard which still fits into Dancer's role in past games where it focus on support.

That's my biggest hesistation about Hrothgar, really. They don't seem to fit with the existing story in ARR very well.

Dwarves as a beast tribe, though... the term "beast tribe" is kind of an awkward label that I think they're only sticking with because it defines a specific game gimmick - a non-playable race/tribe that you run daily quests for - and they don't want to change it. Even in Stormblood, the "beast races" aren't really treated differently to "human races" like they were in Eorzea. (Which category do Lupin fit into, after all? Do we only consider them "not a beast tribe" because a band of them didn't settle an isolated village somewhere and ask us to run fetchquests?)

I'm more annoyed that despite claiming that dwarves *are* physically Lalafells, their eyes are in completely the wrong place and (from where that implies their head is positioned) their body proportions look extremely strange.

I main healer and have been in and out of hiatus - haven't even started stormblood yet. I'd be ok with current classes getting a decent rework, i can wait another expansion for a healer, but..
The lack of bunneh bois makes me sad. Like, i really wanted them.
Very disappointed. I think i may go into another hiatus, i just don't feel like resubbing right now... this kind of ruined my night

Lupin are beast-tribe as per their Triple Triad card. The game has made it clear that almost all beast tribes are still considered "Spoken" races like the playable six (now eight).
