I know very well that preferences exist. I acknowledged a few pages back. Yeah, preferences are a thing. Like I said before, I hate chocolate covered cherries, those chocolate cordials are absolutely abysmal to me. However, am I going to go up to someone and tell them how much I dislike them to their face while they're eating them? No, I'm not.

The preferences themselves are fine, nobody has to like the same thing. I'm not against people having preferences. It's using those preferences to justify being rude where things get eyebrow raising.

The viewpoint "I personally don't like ____ " itself is fine.
The viewpoint "I personally don't like ____, I hope it ceases to exist/doesn't exist at all, and I'm going to make sure everyone knows it." brings motive into question. But I suppose one could easily write it off as jerks being jerks.

First of all i'm gay. Not everyone who disagrees with you is a~bigot~. All I'm saying is don't use my sexuality as an ~aesthethic~ you're the one that decided to go on this rant of yours.

It really doesn't though. It only does if you're looking for a motive to question. I for one do not like the afro hair style in the game and wish it didn't exist. Does that mean I hate afros? Not at all but the one they provided us in the game looks like an absolute joke compared to what it could look like (See GW2 new race afros/hair styles).

There is nothing wicked behind people saying they want or don't want certain things. Stop making it about that. Not pointed just at you, but at everyone who does this kind of thing. Online and in real life.

I think he's saying people don't LOOK gay. They are gay regardless of what they look like. They're asking not to describe a visual style as "gay" because it's a stereotype.

I agree, the afro hair is atrocious and it makes it worst that it was contest hair. Gw2 does afros beautifully and doesn't look like they were made out of Styrofoam. However, I highly doubt that you would go out of your way to tell people that.

I feel for you, I really do Berret. I have a small handful of online friends who describe their personality as "gay" and they seem to just... do everything in their power to be "aesthetically" gay. They think it's super cute and special but a lot of other people just kind of look at them with ... something lol. Meanwhile most of my rl gay friends hate it because they think it causes people to not take them seriously or see them as a character / trope and not a person.

The male viera we get in game, if we ever do, are not going to be anything other than the general handsome/pretty style that all the races fall under. They will not likely be as extreme as the Roe or as extreme in the other direction. If we get them, good. If we don't, oh well. Hrothies are still the best boys under the sun.

Hah! My Hrothgar's look was basically me wanting what's basically a teddy bear kitty I never once thought "Gay, Look Gay" but more "I want to make a Hrothgar that everyone wants to hug". It's a look that I had for a Roe and I think it came out nicely on him. Thank you for the compliment! <3

When I said aesthetic, I didn't mean being gay itself, I refereed to the existence of feminine men. And to people who are overly disgusted by it, it gets labeled as "gay". Of course I know there is no one way to be gay, and that the vision of all gay men as queens is a stereotype. I think you misunderstood me.
