I don't have a link to hand, though Yoshi-P explained that child-like Viera are not going to be a thing in one of his recent official statements. He stated that there's no guarantee that they'll be added, though if they are they'll be along the lines of Elezen.

Elezen are tall and we can infer that he is referring to the likes of Haurchefant and Aymeric rather than Alphinaud for obvious reasons. The only short Elezen we have seen have been children after all and that is the aesthetic Yoshi-P wishes to avoid.

I believe this is from the interview when Yoshi-P said they'd basically be like Elezen Males. This might not mean height and more their physique. I guess the add on from this is that elegance - which is what Yoshida wants them to be like; is usually linked into those who are tall. While this isn't always the case, in fiction a lot of writers describe tall women/men to move with elegance - perhaps due to the long legs and their stride? Of course, it's also linked into those who move with a strict grace - which is also elezen. So it could be linked into that and again, not their height.

Since boxers were brought into this. Boxers tend to be tall; with the average height for a boxer being around 6ft or something. Though the smallest class for a boxer is around 5'5 which is still taller than a miqote.

Not really, if they're muscular and have zero body fat then they'd actually be more ripped. Steve Fox has about 6 percent body fat. Someone at 0 percent body fat who is muscular is a body that is pure muscle. So, you would see the muscle underneath the skin on both the abdomen, pectorals, biceps and thighs (etc). They are extremely defined.

This is someone with 0 percent body fat. So a male Viera's body is going to be ripped. I would honestly prefer them to be 5-6% body fat, so there's no veins or the sorts and some padding. But seeing how males live hand to mouth and most likely on a high protein diet, it makes sense for them to be at 0.

In practice, I expect they'll add some BF. It's not uncommon for them to exaggerate a bit when discussing concepts, but when it comes to actual design, what looks good will take priority.
