Maby confrontational, frustrated, perhaps even rude would better fit? Regardless, What I want is not a child male Viera but a young looking adult like my miqo.



19 is the legal age in Canada. 21 in the US i think? So from my point of view being Canadian, Elijah Wood was an adult when LOTR was released. He was 20.

Point 1. My point in that post is that those people that find playing child characters in games is creepy because they associate kids with sex. I don't so it does not creep me out. Its annoying that they keep bringing it up.

Point 2. Even if for some reason square made child male viera playable, this does not mean the playable female viera would be having sex with the child vieras. Normal adults don't have sex with kids. Again they find it creepy because they associate kids and sex together.



There is nothing in the lore that suggests adult male viera look like children.

Well of course not. Teenagers don't like being treated like children (nor do 20 year olds). However, from what I can recall when I was 16, some still acted like children. Especially the rich spoiled ones.

Anyway, I don't want kids to be playable in this game due to lore and story reasons (and the reason you brought up in point 1. It might annoy you, but there are some messed up people out there). I personally hate the 'hero child' stuff and I honestly can't see a child being able to master multiple Jobs, handle the amount of nonsense they're put through (betrayal, almost being killed, politics, war and almost being killed again. Actually, I think the points where our character is almost killed is what will prevent kids from being playable), as well as being able to be a Captain of a Grand Company Squadron.

You missing the point that the female viera playable character are adults and the lore if not mistaken state that male viera leave when reach the adulthood to live exiled and protect the forest.
Nah the lore state well they multiply also and you not going to leave their village as male viera until you reach adulthood and is just that simple.

The mentioned above assumption you made is just as wrong as your line of though.

To play with the ages you mentioned above you already have your miqo-te or hyur for once let us have more mature adult races.
So am praying for a Male Viera with wrinkles and grey white hair, mature adult and athletic.

It's not the people who just want to play a child character, because they think it's "cute". A little weird, especially if you are a dude, I think... it's the weirdos who will take advantage of it. Male viera, I personally think it would be weird as hell to have them look like toddlers or preteens, because the females look like adults. If they looked like manlings with ears that would be funny as hell, but it would be fine, as long as they looked like MANlings. A feminine looking male would probably be fine, since apparently in their lore they looked like females for awhile, so even if they grow out of it they would still probably have a similar build to a female since they would probably only slightly mature out of it.

If I had to pick what variant of male I'd want, it would be probably a leaner highlander build. With some soft, some harder faces, and a muscle slider for the people who don't care to have a lot of definition.

Yeah, well, the weirdo's shouldn't ruin things for normal people. Regardless, it's not likely we're going to get a hummingway esque male viera anyway. Yoshi P already described them as slim, handsome, and elegant. He also commented on possibly using an elezen base. So if we were to ever get male viera, I'm guessing they will be around the same height as the females. Like you said, the male and female children look the same, so when they mature, the male viera may still have a similar build to the females, minus the obvious female characteristics like their chests.

Yeah, that's true. A "few bad apples spoil the bunch" sort of thing, but the severity of what these "bad apples" would be doing.. it really isn't worth it. Not to mention I think an adult/young adult look would make more sense in any context anyway. We already have lalafells which I think are a decent balance, cause they can look cute, and mischievous while still knowing they are adults. I think male lalafells are nicely designed in ff, for that crowd. Like gnomes in WoW.

Speaking of gnomes in WoW I think some popular WoW youtuber, streamer, or something who mained a girl gnome was ironically ousted.

However that is just another race for male similar to some others in game, while with Hrothgar SE will deliver something completely different a gender such as the one you describe we already saw with Miqo-te, Hyur and Elezen, in fact was hoping for something more of a tribal facial feature reference while mature since they are a tribe who survive in the forest, and since the lore describes they survive a harsh ritual before going into their exiled and guardian lives it should be at least athletic.
