Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Well unless that's the vison of the male viera the designers had, I don't like it, besides, I don't think the ffxiv dev team should cover a lack with a race from another core title, that would be a disservice for the Ivalice fans, unless it was the image the original dev team had with male viera, I would be ok with that, but would not play a male viera is they end being as short as a male miqo, the only thing I don't like about my mooncat.

In fact I would not leave the concept art in hands of the ffxiv team, the race belongs to the Ivalice teams.

Well, male miqo'tes aren't really short, though their height lower than average. But if male Viera will be same height as them they will look ridiculous in comparison with females, because they most likely will have height near to Roe's (same ridiculous as au ra do). -.-

Fran is taller than female Elezen, for comparison.

And Fran is a head shorter than male Au Ra, who are a bit shorter than roegadyn males. Although the ears extend a tiny bit higher than an Au Ra head. Would like them to not be taller than Au Ra atleast, we live in a world of giants, and I am one of them.

I'd agree with that. As I've stated before I hate to play tall characters. I'd prefer close to the min height of miqo males to close to viera female max.

Can only :eyeroll: on all these expectations. So many, though only 1 male race to make people happy. I really hope there will be alot of Hrothgar players, hope they were worth it.

At this point I just want them added. Gonna decide after if I'll really fantasia to one, depending how they will turn out.

I shared the slim viera picture on the japanese forum and they seemed to like it.
Some other person on there drew male viera with a figure skaters physique and did a height comparison to male miqo'te. I thought they did a good job.

There has already been a lot of masculine viera pictures posted here. I'd say we need more slim viera pictures now tbh
