I ... I agree. I myself use the more masculine faces when it comes to miqote. Correction - the only masculine face. My biggest hope is that he will have a wild/masculine face choice.
But I'm ok with this aesthetique if I'm honest. We'll just have to see come benchmark what customisations they have.
Also, call it what you want but both gender are playboy at the very least. I'd argue that we call female viera bunny girls and are more "playboy" than "feminine woman" depending on the customisation and glam.

I really fear that they made the same mistake as male miqo and make it all boyish, wihtout something closer to derplander and higlanders (random dude/dad/old man). I hope the 3 viera in the trailer are based on the same face, but the chances are small lol

I am okay with a boyish face, i use face 1, the only male miqo face i like lol. But i always wanted something a bit more masculine without going to Hyur or using old cat man face.

The only thing interesting about Male Viera, is that we have never seen one in all FF History when Viera were included.
Now we know they look like Playboy Bunny Boys. Not Men, Boys. They would be alot more interesting they were more masculine looking instead of youthful.

Agreed. What's weird is the female viera look older, even that young(er) looking face. Viera look a lot more like a woman to me than many of the popular female races in the game. I would have thought male viera would look more similar in age. Nope. Boys.

It's interesting now that I look at the two races now. We have the cutesy girls, lets just have our cutesy bishonens. Immortal vampires, 4000 year old dragons, hobbits live to 200 right, etc, etc.

Nah they look like girls, a bit older than aura&miqo but not like a grown woman (exept for face 4 i think). Only Elezen, Roes, highlander and midlander (with the correct choices) look like proper men/women
It will be the same with the boys if we don't get anime/girly hair only. All the viera in the shadowrbingers trailer looked quite young as well.

In humans, women retain youthful features (big eyes, small nose, small face, and soft, round features), whereas men develop more angular ones during puberty. So I think that, to many of us, male Viera look underdeveloped, but it might be that they just don't ever develop what we consider to be masculine features.

Some of these Viera could be 67 because they are longer lived and so age differently...but that doesn't change that...its just not a look for me.

As long as they add a non-teenager face like Miqo'te has I'll be fine with them. It will also depend on how tall they are, for those of us who are tall being as short as midlander is a big problem.
