Please add male viera with Alphinaud's body type or the body type shown in these concept arts

I made the shoulders less broad, the neck a tad bit shorter, and removed the fur.

I think this is a good body type for male viera

As long as the male viera are slim, and just a little bit shorter than the female viera, I think that would be cool. The female viera are pretty tall in general, so even if the males are a little shorter, they'd still look cool

I like the male Omega body type suggestion a LOT!! I understand those who suggest Alphinaud's body type pretty much mean that they just want smaller male viera, but it would personally creep me out a little bit if it isn't edited enough. Which it could easily be! But I do like this alternative suggestion. <3 Would play!!

yes omega body type is perfect for male viera, tall and muscular, but not too much masse too...
male viera was as much wanted than female viera.... the thing is yoshida is scared to add viera male more than add the female because it like something we did wait to see for ages... far before ff14 even exist... it's something we want to see for very long time. and even if they don't want to add it, at some point, when we will go to golmore jungle we will meet viera male.... how explain that player will not be able to play it! because when, we will explore this area, i doubt the male viera... with the imperial invasion will not move at us.....STRANGER... entering them territory!

they have no good reason to not add viera male... sooner or later we will see them! what they will do when it happend? plus i want to add something.... Shadowbringer will allows us to cross dimension for get in the First shard where Viera exist under the name of Viis... do they means the Viis that have a different culture of the viera of the source world... have no male? don't we will meet a male Viis too?

you know, if they announce that the two race will get the missing gender in the 5.2 or even 5.3 i will be ok.... honestly the trouble is the fact to lock gender with no good damn reason!
even if they say, we will not add another race after this, i will be ok.

Just want to add, I don't want male viera to be shorter than their female counter parts, I think they should be the same heights like the HW concept art.

even if they say, we will not add another race after this, i will be ok.

i don‘t think the additional genders will be released before 6.0 tbh. i don‘t think they have the resources to add them in 5.2 or 5.3, i‘d really welcome it tho!

anything is possible, but i think the same, i will be surprise, in agood sense if they come and tell us they will add them before 6.0.... but honesty right now, we can all agree to say that most of the community is unhappy with the genderlock and they need to come and talk to us about what they plan to do next

I support female hrothgar. I'm a fem roe player myself. I didnt start out that way. But everytime I saw one in game, I just fell in love. Now im a proud Fem Roe player. And I count every fem roe npc that I see. I know it is a little thing but I love seeing them around in the game. And from the conversations with other Fem Roes players they do the same. That's why I understand people's sadness and anger around no Female Hrothgar and Male Viera. There are players who are already in love with those races/gender and just don't know it yet. It is also odd that they are genderlocked since between 1.0 and 2.0 that the community voted and voiced the want for gender parity.

As for the lore reasons of not making them. The lore is already weird with it being an MMO already. I can start a new character as an Au Ra at the beginning of ARR. Playing a race that no one in Eorzea has seen by that point? (At least storywise) It's also messed up in another way because we play dungeons and raids with other players. And its odd to think that "Oh, yea these are just random adventurers who somehow have the same skills as me. Who will just leave after this dungeon? And won't effect the story at all". So the this is weird because lore reasons already doesnt make much sense. But those are my thoughts, I am really excited for Shadowbringers and I wish the Dev Team there best. And thank you all for doing all this wonderful work.
