I'd assume there will be at least one 'rugged' face. Hopefully something along the lines of the 'dad cat' face for miqo'te men.

We might get some cool face paint and facial tattoo options as well. I don't know if viera women get any of that? Never made a female character in this game, honestly.

I thought those two ooked alike in the video. Seeing them like that makes me wonder if they aren’t the same face after all it’s probably my favorite one though from what I can tell.

The top two kinda look like the same face with different settings. Those angy eyebrows and lip color give it away.

congratulations for getting the holy grail in FF races, a male viera. Looks like it is not diminutive to the female counterpart so this is very good.

How they did. They're just like how I imagined

I love how it turned out. I always had hope they would look like this instead of having big gender differences. I didn't want male Viera to be like super tall(er than female) or "buffed" and serious looking like it happens with female and male Au'ri. With their thin but toned bodies and looking cute. I'm really really happy.

Honestly, they faces should be a bit more gruff given the lore. Right now the faces look too similar to femViera. The animations aren't bad, looks like it's based of male Au Ra.

I don't necessarily agree with this tbh, it seems to be fairly common that people think that '' gruff = good warrior ''.
Looking at Western video game covers makes that pretty apparent lol ( endless grumpy gruff men ).
Historically a lot of great warriors were described as beautiful, Vikings for example were said to be very well-groomed and handsome and not like what you see in movies, tv shows and games.
That's a more modern and superficial view.

With humans it makes a bit more sense I think to play into tropes like that, but with different races I don't think that they necessarily need to fit into those Hollywood tropes.
And I don't think that it really fits into that fantasy that Male Viera are clearly playing into.
I mean sure they're effeminate by our modern human standards, but by Viera standards I'd assume not.
