For those that are being a bit prickly: people are fine to discuss points regardless of agreeing or disagreeing, but making constructive points rather than resorting name-calling (whether to other players, or to SE) would be the better way to go about debates.

Personally i'm getting sick of seeing this argument that the only people who want Male Viera added are gay and to erp in a corner. It is completely nonsensical and is an attempt to relegate the argument to something perceived as distasteful.

I'm disgusted that people are seriously using this as an argument....not only is it incredibly ignorant and disrespectful but it's also homophobic! (Some responses more blatant than others)

I've seen the term "mincing" being used...this is a derogatory word used to put down the gay community....it is not okay and I would advise any similar derogatory remarks be reported....I know trolls and childish users should not be engaged, they tend to get bored when no one takes the bait....however when actual homophobic rhetoric is being posted it needs to be reported....regardless of whether it's trolling or not.

I know someone who was going to switch right away if male Viera were made available and that was because they simply like them. Sexual orientation has nothing to do with it. I would just ignore the person you're responding to. They're clearly trolling. As to the topic though I've stated at least once or twice in this thread alone that I'm all for them. More options are always better even if they aren't my cup of tea. No ulterior motives here whatsoever. Most people are probably the same way regardless of certain preferences.

I am just not sure why people dont understand that most that unsub or sub less do this for more than one reason and genderlocks could just be the last point. We are giving the devs money and if they dont create enough content that one likes then its fine to first point out what one dislikes in the hope for change (because devs are humans too and cant see everything and might be able to change it) and if that does not happen, can take their money elsewhere.
