I feel called out >_>Fantasia is very likely to be the most profitable source of income for the development team at this point. Especially if it's true that Mog Station money goes into the game itself.
As such, they're missing out on a lot of potential money by not touching up the older playable races and adding the missing genders.
There's quite a lot of people who already guzzle fantasia on a daily, weekly or monthly basis after all.
I agree. They already make enough money right now off fantasias from people who switch back and forth in general. Especially the people who switch back and forth from viera, hrothgar, due to their limitations!

I think that in particular, the amount of catboys and to a lesser yet rather big amount players who want female bestial races would likely switch itno, out of and into male viera agin constantly. Afterr all, without countign bots, male miqote are the most popular race and I expect male viera likely follow a similar asthetic, even fi taller and more elzen like and whatnot. Also if they are indeed rabbit haired elegant elves with proper animations I know of a ton of ppl who will switch, likely applying to many others and meaning some really good fantasia money. As for customization, most likely outcome is the options would be new tattoos and face paints, at most a few new 'features' like horns etc, which are unlikely to draw that many players into fantasia and mostly gonna add more things for the asthetician or the character creation when ppl first play the game, which is also important. In just a few hours we will find out, but I'm not holding my breath again only for them not to add the missing genders and be angry all again, so Im going in with quite literally 0 expectationsFantasia is very likely to be the most profitable source of income for the development team at this point. I'm going in with expectations even if it leaves me disappointed at the end of the day.. My personal opinion is that they need to do one of the following: introduce male viera/female hrothgar; give actual customization for female viera/male hrothgar; update customization for all of the races (adding new face options, more facial hair, etc etc).I think that in particular, the amount of catboys and to a lesser yet rather big amount players who want female bestial races would likely switch itno, out of and into male viera agin constantly. At this point, I'd even take a "we are working on implementing male viera and female hrothgar. Please look forward to it" announcement. But I think we need *something* customization-wise this expansion or quite a few players will have a sour taste in their mouth. I don't really enjoy seeing the same viera/hrothgar/highlander player characters everywhere haha.
I'd be entirely satisfied with 2-3 screenshots and a 'we are working on it, we cant confirm when in 6.x it will be, please look forward to it!', but I'm really trying to keep my expectations unexistant so I wont get dissapointed, that being said, I stand your stance and I fully respect it, I've jsut been let down by both SE and my own expectations a few too many times alreadyI'm going in with expectations even if it leaves me disappointed at the end of the day.. I'd be satisfied with CONCEPT ART and a "we can't confirm it for the expansion, but please look forward to it!" THAT'S how low my expectations are.I'd be entirely satisfied with 2-3 screenshots and a 'we are working on it, we cant confirm when in 6.x it will be, please look forward to it!', but I'm really trying to keep my expectations unexistant so I wont get dissapointed, that being said, I stand your stance and I fully respect it, I've jsut been let down by both SE and my own expectations a few too many times already
This would be perfectly acceptable to me, with at least some acknowledgement that one day will have the missing genders.
I think this is exactly the problem... Yoshi P came out and said that he will not confirm or deny that we will ever be getting the other genders. It is the state of limbo that I think is irritating people. IMO it would be better to just straight out say they aren't ever going to add male viera/female hrothgar and deal with the backlash than just to never say anything at all..
