Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I actually quite like the idea of a more bishounen looking male race, and I think it would fit male viera super well! Similar to how female viera are both elegant and fierce.

I hope male viera have a bishonen face, a 'beastial' face and 2 handsome and elegant face ssi everybody is (or should be) happy

I feel extremely cheated. The only reason I ordered the Shadowbringers expansion was because I wanted to play a male Viera. So I stopped playing mostly thinking that the game designers would add them at a later time. Here we are a year later, and a male Viera still is not available. My guess is this is because most of the designers want to populate the game with Playboy Bunnys. This makes the game target an adult male audience, and goes against lore as male Viera exist in the lore.

Since its a matriarchal culture maybe the men are small like some of the concept art that was circulating about the time of the release. I'm just stating that the block on races Hrothgar included needs to be removed.

Do you review your own forums? Female players are a mixed of enraged as being presented a Playboy Bunny to play, loving the concept, and/or questioning why there are no male Viera as they do need to reproduce.

I'm very curious about what logical non-sexist answer you have as to why there are no male Viera in the game with so may player request for them.

I share your desire for the addition of male viera in this game, but I don't think the lack of their inclusion is sexist. Rather, it was because the dev team had limited resources. While there are a lot of players who wanted viera to be added in the game, there were also some who wanted a beast-like race, so Yoshi P wanted to take into consideration both groups of people. With those limited resources, the decision was made to go half and half.

I wouldn't give up hope on male viera entirely. I think it's still possible we may see their inclusion in the game. The best thing you can do to help would be to leave a "like" on the OP of this thread, and share this thread with your friends who would also like male viera (and encourage them to leave a like on the OP as well). If you have social media, linking to this thread would also help quite a bit.

Just leave a like on OP and hope for them to be added in 6.0 (like, a year + of wait) since the devs wouldnt add them before the next expac, where they can use them as the biggest selling point

If only the developers could literally be transparent with us. They most likely know if they're gonnab ehere at 6.0 or not. They should just tell us if not the wait is just getting harder and harder to the point where if WoW's next expansion is good I might just switch to that

Yes, please go play WoW and be hateful towards their devs.

Back on topic, I think they're going to push a lot of content / fixes / whatever you want to call it for the current new races before they focus on adding even more to their plate. I'm not being pessimistic, I'm just trying to be a realist about it.
