Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Actually, based off of interviews and comments from Yoshi P and Masano, it's likely male viera will look:

-Similar to elezen, but with better proportions
-Have a face similar to miqo'te
-Slim, elegant, and handsome
-Body type similar to Toru Rikiishi before his fight with Joe (from Ashita no Joe). In other words, a slim but toned light weight boxer

If the same thing happens with male viera, I'd be totally down.

But I'm pretty confident that male viera won't have a drastic shift like female au ra did from the concept art. I say this because the female viera we have now do not look that different from the concept art.

The male races aren't really cute, aside from lalafell. The other male races are pretty well built. Even male miqo'te is well built, they just have an option for a softer looking face. I think your view on what is cute or feminine is kind of skewed considering your previous comments.

I personally wouldn't want m viera to be 'cute' as a standard but more towards Omega M/Innocence facial standards.

I also think Omega M/Innocent's face is more on the beautiful/elegant side. With some minor adjustments to the face to make it look more like a viera, I think that kind of face option would look nice on male viera. Of course, it would be best if there was a variety of faces to suit other people's preferences: beautiful/elegant, cute, rugged, and idk what else.

If only elezen had better proportions and better face options similar to Omega M, Innocence, or Aymeric, but that's not going to happen. If I can get a male viera with better body proportion and those facial features while still maintaining rabbit like features, that would be amazing.

The problem with that statement is we were only talking about females - it is true that a lot of the female races tend to be cute (miqo'te, au ra, lalafell), but the males don't really have cute races aside from lalafell. The other races for males are not cute or feminine. Furthermore, lalafell is its own niche. Some people want to play as a cute race, but not be like... a chibi character. Females have the option to play miqo'te and au ra if they want a cute character that isn't a chibi. Males don't have this option.

Say what you want about male miqo'te, but they are still well built. Just because we have the option to make their faces softer doesn't change the fact their bodies are well built - big biceps, broad shoulders, etc...

I don't necessarily think Omega M's body type is cute, but more elegant and slim, which is what I'd like. It's the best body type for male viera imo, but you might consider it feminine.
