I think a healthy medium between the options of ESO, and BDO could be nice. With more facial customization, etc. I like that ESO has it restricted enough that it's within the bounds of the lore (you can still make clown characters though), but the faces in particular are just not good enough. FF could really use something like that, definitely in regards to BDO body customization. Faces, personally I like a set of preset face options you can heavily modify, along the lines of skyrim, mostly because I am not creative at all, and need something to start with.

They did? Thank God. I hope this game goes on for at least 8-10 more years with updates. If they could figure out how to nicely update the graphics, etc. that would be amazing. A new MMO would probably take at least 4-5 years to make properly, so we probably have at least 2 more expansions for this game.
