Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Every single female race sans Lalafell uses the same base model, so it's really nitpicking at this point... but.

Viera heads are bigger and they've smoothed out the model. That's it.

I expect them to just update the male Elezen body and upscale the head for male Viera tbh. Maybe give them a little more definition in the stomach/ab area.

They use the same model but here's the thing, it's modified. They do look different. Viera have wider hips, are slimmer, their heads match the proportion of their body. In different lighting, and even here, you can see more muscle definition of Viera. Also, for that matter if you are trying to tell me they all use the same "identical" model why did you specifically name Elezen? Elezen have less curves, they look like a cardboard box. When you actually see them in game next to your viera, you can easily spot all the differences. Yes, head size makes a big impact on how they are perceived, and Elezen have tiny heads.

For that matter you can spot the differences in all of the female races. Midlander is a bit more slim than miqo'te, au ra are very petite much smaller than either, elezen are cardboard boxes, roe are much wider and broad in stature, highlander actually use the same body as miqo'te but they have a muscle slider.. Even if they all used the exact same model their idle poses, and animations would make them look distinctively different.

I very much agree with this. In my opinion, it does make sense to use male elezen as a base for male viera, and I think if male viera are added, this will most likely be the base the devs use. Of course, the proportions will be modified, just like it was with female viera.

They are literally using the Hyur midlander hempen set, which tells me they are using the midlander's body..
