I actually think all of your points there are valid, but I think that you missed on two of them.

The dact you said they cant throw more money at it, like it has already been demonstrated at this thread by people that work on the industry, is simply not true.

Imma disregard my "no snips" rule cause this is just too silly.

Cause it's easy to sit here and think you can solve any problem by throwing money at it but it's not so cut and dry. It could be that it doesn't matter if they hire more people or not, the time it takes to over see and quality correct everything wont go down and will only increase causing set backs and delays to content. Or it could be that they would literally be employing more people to their team for GOOD to make up for giving fans a cosmetic choice that was not needed. This could very easily be a fat "NO" on list of reasons to add to the budget or use said budget when they may need that money to go towards other things that need new hires. Hiring more people just for this kinda stuff instead of other departments could slow down content.

You don't know, I don't know, WE don't know so you can either trust his words on it or go tinfoil hat conspiracy theory and not trust him. If you don't want to trust the man's words on it then there's really no conversation to be had ... cause now we're talking head canon and can't trust real world addresses to the problem. Like, what's the play here? If he's just saying BS and just doesn't want to do it then it's not gonna happen no matter how much you whine that they can just throw money at the problem to make it go away so might as well let it go. If you take his world for it then maybe you keep hope alive that they will find away around all these things that stop them from doing it.

Then, like I said, there is a reason why they went for female viera instead of the full hrotgar race, and that is profits.
Let's face it, viera add absolutely nothing to the game, and in the end, they are the same thing as the other races, humans with animal/special ears, but they will be popular and obviously make tons of fantasia sales. We have no way on knwoing how popular the hrotgar will be, but regardless, if what they really cared was the world building, we would have gotten male and female hrotgar.

They picked Viera because people like ME have been begging for them for years. Since before Scaley Peeps.
You do know how silly that sounds, right? "They added a race (an action to please fans and give them new ways to express themselves) that's been the most asked for as part of their FINAL RACE addition! SEE! Clearly they do this for PROFIT!".

You could read the interviews where Yoshi says that people world wide also wanted Viera and they wanted to add them for those fans. How they didn't want to let them down again after the last time. Where it basically sounds like they felt that they HAD to do it cause other wise there would be no Viera at all for these people.

But nope, lets get a roll of tinfoil. (He credits the players request for a beastly race after the Lupin as reason for them doing Hrothgar BTW. Like, that's why you add races to a game like this. It's for the fans, it gives players more options to express themselves. Like, why would they add a race that they don't think anyone wants? )

Then, female viera, and viera in general, adds absoluetely nothing to the game, yet many ppl asked for them and that means SE would make tons of cash from them. If they prioritized their vision for the game, we would have gotten hrotgar fully, and no viera at all, but we got female viera added at 5.0, with a possibility for the other genders at a later date. They did this for cash, and you are free to think otherwise, we are all entitled to our own opinion after all, but there are some things that at least to me seem quite obvious. If they weren't doing it for cash, don't you think they would have given them some racial armor and not the lingerie that they gave us knowing it would make people play the race so they can stare at their butts

Oh cash is absolutely part of the decision. It had to be part of the discussion they had when deciding on if they wanted to add just one race or two. They've said as such when they gave their explanation; they had to balance out their want to add something for the fans (viera), adding a beast race (which was something other MMO's have and FF was lacking), and deciding that their staffing levels would only allow for designing 1 male and 1 female options. They're all business decisions, including considering what would be the most enjoyable for the player base at large.

Money is always part of the discussion for business, but I think they made their decision based on the logistics of the situation and a broader look at what they wanted in the game rather then "bunny girls will move those fantasia sales! Get to it!"

If they HAD to do female viera, then they should have given us male viera instead of male hrogar. If they didnt HAVE to do female viera, then they should have given us female hrotgar and male hrotgar, with a chance (the same as we have now for the missing genders) to see the other race added in the future. Also, by sells, I guess we will see how many hrotgar there will be, but Im quite positive male viera would have been much more popular
