Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Of course he did since FFXII, it's in the concept artworks. Akihiko Yoshida is the best designer in Square-Enix (and one of the best in all the gaming scenario today) together with Amano and Minaba, reason why I find it disgusting, disturbing and very sad reading people interested in male Viera exclusively for their eRP games in Limsa/housing as Final Fantasy is totally not this, not even ARR.
And again talking about an already taken decision is a waste of energy and brings nothing on the table, focus on the game itself, on the next expansion mechanics (lore, music, gameplay, whatever) and let's try to close the circle around the marginalized players interested in sexual activities till they finally disappear for good. I am content with SE not feeding them with ShB, that's one of the most positive note of the expansion as the problem (cause it is a problem) is real and their crazy-mad reactions when you hit with words where it hurts the most are the proof of why this thread is alive and what these kind of players want.

For Heavensward one race was added and you got both female and male options; a wild one as Yoshi-P asked and you got the Aura.

The man just said that they didn't have the time to both but wanted to please the people asking for Viera and the ones asking for a more beasty race.

Opposite genders aren't new races. A relatable work load, but they are ultimately different things, and given all the negative press the decision to gender lock has generated, it's one that's likely to be addressed if SQX actually cares about maintaining revenue for the one game they have that continues to actually make money, especially when it was a backpedal on a major design choice going into 2.0.

I've followed this thread since it was posted. I haven't seen a single person posting that wants male Viera exclusively for ERP. Having the freedom to visually express themselves in an MMO (a staple of the genre)? Sure. Even if they did, however, why does that even matter to you? It's something done in private on two servers. Two. It doesn't affect you in any way whatsoever all the way over on Chaos.
