Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

It's not in the gutter. Most of the people asking for a child like or "feminine" male Viera are from Balmung. Lets not pretend for a single second either that people aren't going to perv over the appearance of a little boy in skimpy mogs. I have come across several people now making lewd comments about "young twink Viera" that it has already crossed a line. The female Au Ra don't look like children compared to their male counter parts - they're just (unnecessarily) short. People are asking for a child like male Viera. That's a vast difference.

And that is absolutely valid and fine. I still hope if we DO get Viera, though Yoshi said not to get high expectations for them, I hope they're more along the lines of the art posted in the previous page.

Compared to male Au Ra, the female Au Ra definitely look like children. Most of them are nearly half the height of the males. Female Au Ra are only like one head taller than a lalafell. Even the emotes are childish looking. :v You're in a glass house Miss Penelope. I don't want young looking viera either, but to try and act like people are disturbed or perverted just for wanting that is wrong. If we're allowed to have young looking females in the game there is no reason males shouldn't be allowed too.

heh didn't think about that... side by side, au ra females are so much smaller than the male counterparts.
I'm not really asking for that much of a height disparity between female and male viera, but males slightly shorter than the females, and slim, is something I'd support
don't see why men of a certain race in this game can't be shorter than their female counterparts, and slim.

idk about the faces, but I'd imagine male viera would have an elegant looking face like the females do maybe?
the lore does state that you can't really tell male and females apart until a certain age.

They already give us young boyish faces though. All the male races except for roes and highlanders have a young face option. Even the elezen do. People rarely use that one, but you see the boyish miqote face all the time. Not to mention we literally have a race that looks to be the size of grade school children. I don't get why the idea of male viera looking young offends you to the point you're attacking people's character over it. We already have similar things in the game as it is.

I guess that's what it boils down to. Her character looks to be barely pushing 16 and she's calling other people perverts for wanting male characters that look young. :v
