I have strong doubts that we will visit other shards. But I could always be wrong.
FFXIV could go a wide range of directions, but I guess for me I just dont want this game to go on for TOO long: as in it will literally start scrapping for content, start making mistakes that actually hurt the game and legit make no sense, and become solely dependent on Mog Station.
I don't want it to become Battle for Azeroth where there is a period everyone resents and hates the game.

Not pleased with the fact that I woke up today to find yet another genderlocked outfit on mogstation, and a low quality one at that which Vieras can’t use properly. It really does feel to me that there is a loss of quality and more rushed feeling to some of the things being released recently and it's really tiresome. Feeling a taste of what I feel. Viera are a gimmick; afterthought. It's unfortunate, but that's how it is. When I saw that screenshot in the other thread I started laughing, and facepalming at the same time. Honestly, if this is the effort we can expect, we probably aren't seeing male viera. Seeing stuff like that just reaffirms my decision to go back to my au ra.

I mean, at least they can use the hood, I guess?

I have to comment on this again and say I wish I could laugh at this, but this only just continues my disappointment on
how poorly they have released and treated the Viera and Hrothgar friends.
I'm actually embarrassed too. This is like a rookie mistake.
This is truly unacceptable. I'm trying to wrap my head around how this even passed the team.

With that said, more people I know are switching races back to their previous because of how limited the new races are.
Looking at this, makes me think they didn't care about them. They just wanted people to stop begging. It's better
to have a nicely finished race than this mess. They did the same thing to BLU and it didn't come out well at all either.

With all this tied in, I can't say that I see male Viera coming in the near future because of these releases.
I do hope to see male Viera someday though, so I support this thread fully!

After seeing this, I just think that SE will release a very bad, glitchy and bareboens version of male viera and female hrotgar ( theyll likely slap ears into male au ra/elezen and give femroes male hrotgar heads with eyelashes) so they can get more money out of this and Im not even sure if theyll work on them afterwards. This is what happens when u make 2 genderlcoked races insetad of one SE :/

It's very sad. I'm almost losing my interest by Vieras and returning to miqo'te.
At this point, i'm thinking they will never finish this two new races.
It was a very hilarious experience, but I'm puting more effort to make Viera a "completed race" to me, than SE.

Surprisingly I think they'll finish it. I just don't see it happening any time soon. I mean, it makes me wonder if they'll bother with the headpieces now and make them all fit only to go back and make the males and repeat the process. A bright spark in me thinks that's what they're going for, but that's the dreamer side. The butthole in me just thinks they bit off more than they can chew.

Im gonna be possitive here and just give a possitive though (not really supported by evidence, just to be happy about this subject for once ). What if they aren't working on the headpieces because they're working on male vieras and waiting for them to be released so they only have to do it once?
