It probably helps that the Ronso females do look a bit similar to femroes as it is. As for Viera, I'd expect a re-tooled Elezen, maybe hybridised with some other model like Miqo'te.

It will just be male miqote, females have the exact identical same body as females, so Im almost 100% positive ti will be that. MAYBE male au ra considering that they got the body type that the male viera concept art has. If u ask me, I'd 100% rather have male au ra, but as long as male viera are tall arround 1.90, and dont look like male roes or lalafells, Ill almost 100% likely switch ASAP

Aren't Miqo's just using an edited hyur body though? I can see it being either elezen or au'ra, I'd play an Au'ra if the waist wasn't so thin and they didn't have the bay watch run. I swear Au'ra males aren't actually running, what they're doing is forcing the entire world to move around them. So much strength in those strides. lmao

I'm failing to understand the hopefulness around this. I'm not one to stand in the way of people voting for what they want, but didn't SE already address this as almost impossible?

IIRC, they stated that the way the system is built and how it interacts with their database it would be impossible to add the additional races else they would need to spend the time and money in order to completely rewrite systems to support this. Money that should be used for main stay content.

No, it just takes alot of time and resources to make a whole race as well as both the genders.
They have to make Models, Animations, and fit all previously made gear and items to fit the models. Its not impossible on any level, its just not as simple as others will make it sound.

The problem isn't the models. It's the data inputting. There's only 3 bodies for males anyways. Lalafell, Roegadyn, and Hyur. They use the game to stretch out the bones to make it into a Elezen or Au Ra looking body. The rigging is already done and modeled because it is just a hyur with added parts. But it is tedious to put in those values for each item and to make it usable with that race.

I don't believe they ever said it was impossible, but they've refrained from giving definite answers about this situation. The good news is that the question regarding the missing genders is still the highest liked one at 131. People will always want money to be diverted to things they want and not to things they personally don't have interest in, so that part is all a matter of opinion.
