i'm picturing elezen with better proportions, less of an elephant neck, and high muscle low body fat %

God eliminating those pencil necks would be a dream. The only reason I don't like Elezen are the proportions.

Ok this discussion isn't my business, but at the same time I need to ask.
Why can't someone not want something? Its perfectly fine for somebody to have an opposite opinion. Its healthy to have a varying opinion. Why is it wrong for one side to want something, and The other side to Not Want something? It doesn't effect either side. Guess what, everyone has an opinion.
Some opinions may resonate with others, but at the end of the day, its an opinion...why are we fighting and demonizing each other over Opinions?

You could be asked the same thing. Why would someone be in a thread clearly in support for male Viera only go on about how distasteful they find the idea to be, and the aesthetic preferences of those within the thread; and then be surprised when their opinion is deemed unpopular in the group.

I mean...you would think it would click in someone's head that maybe they'd be out numberd, but nope. Wow...a thread titled "Male viera as a playable character, show your support!" Is full of bunny boy loving people? Who'da thought.

It's not about shutting down contrary opinions; it's just there are many people who come into this thread with the intent purpose of picking a fight and shaming people who want male Viera. This isn't a "Debate me on why we deserve male Viera" thread, this is a support thread.

Just for the record, I never once said anything about Aesthetics. Not Once.
And nobody would be fighting if nobody got overly excited about somebody else's thoughts; treating it like a personal attack. Sure its a Support Male Viera thread...its still on a public forum, and so its open to varying opinions, and people are entitled to have one, be if it agree's with one or disagrees with another. After that its up to you how you take it. And both sides seem to like fighting about it as suppose to accepting another opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand what you're saying. However in a thread created with the intention of supporting an idea, I really can't understand when some people decide to post things like "I hope this never gets added", "Male miqo'te was a mistake and should be deleter", "female roes are disgusting and shoudln't have been a thing", etc. Not supporting an idea doesn't mean you're against it. However when someone wants to be able to play Viera/Hrothgar to have a better gaming experience, yet someone else thinks they shouldn't be allowed to because they don't wanna look at them, that's when I think it doesn't make much sense. Male Viera and female Hrothgar aren't taboo subjects, it's not like asking for playable children, and it's definitely not something that will affect this person or anyone else's gameplay in the slightest because it's an option, not a requirement.

Again, it's okay to not want or not support something, but going out of your way, in a plataform created for supporting an idea and bash on it while diminishing another concept (male miqo, horthgar and roes) just becuse their "behavior" doesn't go with your vision, is silly to me. Especially if the reasoning is nothing else other than "the idea is dumb", or "all the skimpy male cats/roes/aura will play them so I don't want it lol".

Solution...ignore them. Stop feeding into it and giving it power. As much as you dont like seeing it, you dont have to engage it.

It just sounds rather petty in a thread that is here to request the thing be added. To come in and go 'I hope you do not get the thing that is already not in the game, because I find it distasteful.' comes out as not only rude but unnecessary? The race/gender is already not implemented. What is being discussed here is the request/hope that it is, and if so... what it MIGHT look like given the SE-provided previous design and what the Producer of the game discussed previously. YES, a person has a right to come in and say it, sure. However that doesn't mean it sounds any BETTER and they won't be seen in a good light, either. That's all.

It's simply a matter of common courtesy and taste. People are free to behave as they like, but others are equally as free to respond to them per the environment. A 'read the room' moment.

I think it's fine for people to come into the thread and state their opinions, even if those opinions happen to be unpopular within the thread itself. Obviously those of us who post here frequently want to see male viera added at some point in the future but if others do not want them to be added? It isn't a big deal. They have their reasons - we don't have to agree with them. Though it's far better to just agree to disagree instead of allowing for escalation.

Despite every argument and discussion here, the conversation continues. So why get upset when nothing is getting lost? Keep talking about wanting Male Viera and whatnot.
