I'm not against male Viera, but honestly, I wish that they would first update the damn creator with more features and implement better textures within the game. It's 2019, must everything new that's being added still look outdated and fuzzy?

I'm actually all for this as well, I've said it once, I'll say it again. I would have rather they just fixed the current races than add two "new" ones, Elezen REALLY needs a re-work and midlanders look really janky compared to the newer races also a muscle slider for Au ra.
REMOVE SWIMMING LOADING SCREEN.
I support more character customization features for sure.
It's worth noting that a lot of interest has been expressed towards the big and burly races, they just happen to be lacking in customisation options compared to Midlander Hyur. One of the more common requests for customisation is for Highlander men to be given proper eyebrows and less rugged facial features as design options. I'm sure Roegadyn would be more popular if they had an option for slightly less comical proportions too.
There's also other issues to consider. A lot of hairstyles and casual glamour just doesn't look particularly good on many of the bulkier races. A lot of hairstyles in particular these days are just designed to be androgynous or feminine in nature - and whilst that appeases those who appreciate such aesthetics, it doesn't do much for those of us who just want some options that look like they were designed specifically for male characters.
I've been wanting Hien's hairstyle for a while, for instance. It looks pretty great on him and it'd work as a unisex option - but despite his outfit being added to the Mog Station, we didn't receive it.
One of the best things I saw the developers do was add most of the hairstyles from Type-0. I like Jack's, Trey's and Nine's hairstyles for my characters. I'd love to see more hairstyles directly taken from canon characters. At least we're getting Noctis' hairstyle soon, I suppose.
I'm someone who would have been playing elezen if not for their grey alien inspired proportions because I prefer playing taller characters. They can look good, but their features are mostly quite sharp and they're... just really odd shaped. If male viera can fill the hole of "standard tall wood folk race now with non-extremely-elongated proportions!" it'd be great not just for people who want viera specifically, but for people who just... want to be tall but not a beefcake or haughty looking... or really angryand horny in the case of au ra.
I think Aymeric and Maxima are the two characters who have worked the elezen body the best and they're good range examples. But not even their looks and character presence could truly hide what a nightmare those proportions are.Omega was the only raid series I've ever done and let me tell you Nero's head on that body was... very not okay. It was a few cups short of okay. And when he smiled? A few gallons short of okay.
Edit: I mean, here are somebadscreenshots of Maxima, who is an apparently totally custom head on an elezen body:
He almost looks like he follows the "three heads beside one another or two heads on their side" rule for shoulder width and that alone has done a helluva lot to minimize the weird proportions, which are still there. It's a good body it's just. Just... why... D,:

If there's something high I will definitely fall off of it
Yes to this. The one and only tall and slim race we have doesn't look so good. Male viera would fill this elegant niche. The people who want a bulkier body type already have options. The people who want a graceful slim character have uh... alien giraffes. If male viera can fill the hole of "standard tall wood folk race now with non-extremely-elongated proportions!" it'd be great not just for people who want viera specifically, but for people who just... want to be tall but not a beefcake or haughty looking... or really angryand horny in the case of au ra.
Yeah, there are some people out there who would prefer their race model to not be modified. I don't think that would be an ok thing to do, even though I really don't like my elezen's proportions. It would be nice if we had a body proportion slider for all races, or different body type presets, but I doubt that would ever happen.
As much as people have said they want more customization options for the older races, to be honest that'd be great. Also SE visiting the 'older' races (elezen and roes) and giving them an update/improvement would be great (I'm looking at you eyebrow-less hyur guys and male roes!) But have gone on record with the flimsiest response something akin to "People like them the way they are and if we changed that, they wouldn't like them anymore." Which.. to be honest, has always annoyed me as to me it comes off dismissive and just a little smug, but that's probably just me lol.
All I can hope, is as we continue forward, Yoshi and his team have err.. more open minds when it comes to improvements and/or listening to feedback, especially when it's on such a large scale as this currently is.

I'd be happy with a custom Viera head on my miqo's body. Maby make it slightly more muscular and maby slightly taller by a head or so.
Edit: Maby not more muscular, maby more definition to the muscles. More like Finn Balor

Pictures like this make me wonder if people rather want a body they can gaze at or if they really want male Viera to be added. I can slowly understand why people say this whole thing is a "kink" thing.
I hope they wont listen to any feedback about body proportions. They should just create and design them, as they envision them. When I think about past posts (like pre 100 pages), this whole debate about small, tall, buff, slim.... Its not about male Viera anymore, just about a body type on a race. It's kinda sad and I pressure devs to remain true to themselves and create both Hrothgar and Viera as they imagine them.
