Attempting to stamp out a particular action would easily count as 'policing'. Especially when your previous comment on the matter suggested that you were not going to address it again.

Having just checked the Japanese thread, nobody from the NA or EU forum has even posted there since the event in question which makes it all the easier to just brush the incident under the rug and disallow it from dragging this thread off course.

I wonder what kind of hairstyles we'll be getting when they finally come. A lot of arts show them with long hair and it'll match the aesthetic of the females. Because if the females can manage to be jungle Amazons with those hairdos, why can't the guys? And I'm so totally digging that aesthetic.

Long, voluminous, flowing locks would be awesome. The kind of hair that when you see it you think of Revlon wind and royalty. And maybe some short cuts for the cute and spunky types!

I suspect that Viera and Hrothgar will have a lot of unique hairstyles, much like Au Ra to better account for their more unusual features. Personally I'm of the belief that a lot of the current hairstyles will look pretty jarring on them, since they're designed for Hyur first and foremost.

Posting in the JP forums is OK as long as you do it moderately like they do, and only to share your opinion, after all, people move and post between forums, even the Japanese players do. What I see here is people being upset because we dared to throw some variety into a very one sided thread, as far as we know a non Japanese player could have started the short viera thing there, Senn indeed moved the omega M body type matter to the JP forums, it's just fair for other players to do the same with their opinions.

Hello, people. Been following this thread since the very first reply to this thread and have read literally every single post thus far. I created an account specifically to throw a like and support male Viera and female Hrothgar for my own reasons, but I wanted to post something here after all this lurking.

Ah yes segregation is best. Foreigners should never interact. Keep the races separate but equal!

It isn't about a segregation of communities, but a segregation of languages. If I was to come in here and speak entirely in Spanish (which happens I'm sure), would that be appropriate? This is the EN forums, so you should speak in English. If you're visiting the JP forums, you should speak in Japanese. Hopping in and posting just a picture with literally no discussion is spam, and doesn't really bring anything to the table.
No one cares if you can speak Japanese but live in the States and you post exclusively on the JP forums. You'd be welcome there as long as you follow general social rules. It's when you spam or speak in another language entirely that causes an issue.

That art design is far too young looking. To the point where it'd be legitimately creepy to imagine someone like Fran mating with him or for players to dress him in some of the skimpier outfits available in the game.

I also want to address this and ask why everyone jumps right to the lewd? I'll fully admit I'm 110% on board for the shota/small looking male Viera (shocking judging by my main character, huh?) even if it'd be really goofy and a bit surprising to say the least, but I love cute stuff and I love the idea of a Roger Rabbit situation. I'd certainly give a few laughs after a few cheek pinches. I never even really thought about Roger Rabbit and Jessica Rabbit doing.. That. Not when I was a kid, and not until now, really. I never made my Lalafell with the intention of lewding him up I just wanted a tiny elf boy punching people with little fists and for some reason jumping four times their height.

I've met a lot of people who wear those skimpy outfits and when I read discord chats they're literally laughing at people who get uncomfortable. Heck, just for fun I made my character basically half naked for a raid night just to get a reaction out of my group, and sometimes when I do screenshots I'll take off his shirt and have him flex and call myself "The Musclefell". Things really are a lot more pure than you might think.

But I'm also going to end with I really don't care WHAT we get, as long as the races are completed. That's my main issue with all of this is just getting only one side of a race, and my own general curiosity. If neither Viera nor Hrothgar were ever announced I'd shrug and continue on my normal day of gaming.
I just want to see what SE comes up with to be honest.

This is the reason people "jumps right to the lewd", the full word is Shotakon, and it is something lewd and... lets just say, not ethical, even illegal... And not everyone, but a lot of people asking for short males seems to be using the term for it...
