Apologies if this sentiment has been shared before, I might post this on several other threads because I don't want to be chewed out for starting a new thread for this.
But what are the chances of them announcing something big at this year's E3?
Like... the-inclusion-of-missing-genders-for-the-new-races big?
If the work on the Hrothgar was done very recently then maybe they'd have time to throw together rough models for male Viera/female Hrothgar?

That won't happen. With only a few months until release they'll need to have their resources accolated to gameplay/story/dungeons etc so I highly doubt they'll be putting more into the races than the polishing for the two current parts we're getting

I completely understand that developing new races is expensive, difficult and time consuming. Even though, genderlocking Viera and Hrothgar feels half-baked and rushed to me. As well as the bad textures on the Hrothgar that really look kind of unfinished. In my opinion it would have been better to implement one (non-genderlocked) race with Shadowbringers and another with the following expansion.

Maybe we all should start trying to agree on a similar body type and such so the devs don’t just go crazy and try to combine them all and we get this weird thing. I would love the main concept, maybe being able to adjust the height to smaller/taller than females. I would also want them to have that patch of fur on their chest because that gives wmthem a little bit of character. I prefer hot viera men like faces kinda how male Miqo’te look but maybe a bit older and fierce? Or maybe how Omega-M face looks. I know it will be hard to please everyone but something tall and attractive and SLIM (please not a buff bulky viera) and with that patch fur is all I want. Patch fur needs to be added.

yeah. considering the fact that people seems to be mostly okay with their body type from HW (athletic but not bulky), but different people want different height, making their minimum one shorter than females' minimum and making their maximum higher than females' maximum could be the best solution.

We don't know the min/max height for Female Viera yet, but either way, going just by Fran, I would like to see male viera be able to be taller than that for sure.

I for one prefer short characters...lol I had to change from Au'Ra to Miqo
