They look like dolls to me, extremely pretty, if you don't like that you won't like male vieras (and i have an aversion for dolls, it's really creepy xD). But yeah ppl just don't understand what we are talking about i think.

Actually, yeah, that's a good way of describing them. They do kind of look like dolls. They just look kind of off. I wouldn't describe them as pretty personally though.

A sidequest in Fanow, and the corresponding Viera lore via the Dramaturge, indicate that the men are the first line of defence, patrolling the forest and preventing threats from reaching the village in the first place.

The women are not dominant; the women and men are separate. Both will fight and hunt and defend their homes as necessary.

It will be the breaking point for some, I suspect. Especially once the novelty wears off. Those who like how they were implemented are obviously going to be excited but for those who don't, the expansion doesn't really have much on offer beyond the expected and usual fare.
