Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I support the notion for male viera for a couple of reasons:

- It's an additional customization option for an already-existing playable race, so it wouldn't qualify as "adding another race"
- It harkens to the time of ARR release, where they made it a point to round out each race, so female Highlanders and Roegadyn became a thing (along with male Miqo'te)

While I realize I'm not presenting any sort of new and/or powerful argument for them, that's mainly due to anything I would've argued has likely been brought up numerous times within this thread.

Edit: If I had to pick a design, I'd rather see them go with something more akin to the concept art shown in 2013. Roughly same height as the females and with some muscle mass. No more muscular/bulky than, say, male Highlanders. But I'm not here to argue what minutiae I'd be looking for.

I completely understand why the devs did what they did. I would love to see the 2nd genders in the future, Games aren't easy y'all but I fully believe they will try their hardest.

Please reconsider this decision, even if you tell us it's down the road work. I will happily adventure on knowing it IS something you are willing to do for us eventually. I've had an entire backstory ready and built for my character including the Male Viera since HW concept art of them showed up.

If you're going to go with lore as an excuse, Dancers in FFT were female, Bards male.

Yeah, different in 5, but that just shows this shouldn't be.

I support the release of male viera! Regardless of what people say, I think it is unfair not to be able to play as male, as yoshi-p stated he would not gender lock a race again. Even if he did add the "ronso" the races are STILL gender-locked and doesn't provide equality. Male Viera have never been seen in any of the games and this was a good opportunity to reveal them in the Final Fantasy Series. Not only would it bring many new players, but provide enjoyment to current players. I know it GOES against lore, but male miqo'te goes against lore also.
