perhaps this time, it can be the other way around for viera.

"in my opinion, we already have bulky male body types: highlander, au ra, roegadyn, and now hrothgar
we already have tall male body types: highlander, au ra, roegadyn, hrothgar, elezen
we already have broad/fit male body types: midlander/highlander, miqo'te, au ra, roegadyn, hrothgar
and we have one really short male body type: lalafell

what we're missing is a short, but not lalafell short, male, who is also slim
I think male viera would fit very well into this. when I think of male viera, I think of a smaller build, slim, and agile. something that can stay hidden easily"

I vote for male viera and female hrothgar too. I know about the viera's lore and I don't mind if male buns will be added later. Just let it be happen, pls. Thank you!

Add another vote for female hrothgar and male viera! This genderlocking thing has always rubbed me the wrong way, and admittedly I'm annoyed at the dishonesty they showed before the hrothgar reveal. People outright asked if there would be male viera and instead of straight up telling them that there wouldn't be, they played coy, building false hope, when all they had to tell us from the start is that "there are no male viera, but we have something planned for male characters! look forward to finding out what at Tokyo Fest!" or something. Then there's all the build up viera were given in the first place, making the hrothgar feel like an after thought and a bone tossed our way whether they were or not. It was just bad form all around.
