Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Fairly certain if we do get fem hroth, its going to be fem roe with cat features, not neko. So unique head and all that that male hroth got.

I don't think the Fem Hroth would be Femroe with animal heads.

With Hrothgar they decided to make a much more attractive big man body than Roe, no part of me thinks they would just slap animal features onto the least played female race and leave it at that. They would want to make a much more attractive big woman body with them. Same with how Viera look better than Elezen even though they're both tall thin women with altered middie bods.
I personally figure they would take either the Highlander/ Middy or Scaley female body and scale them way tf up instead or at least make some notable changes to the proportions if they do use FemRoe.
Story wise I don't think we really have any clue on how they would look so there's no much I can roll around for ideas.

If you're going to protest about being upset with no Male Viera then be civil about it. I see people threatening to cancel subscriptions/ Riot/ etc. You only make yourselves look worse and I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't get what you want. Those kind of people I rather see gone. Yoshi P said if the majority of the community wants it, they might look into it but they wanted to stick to the lore. It's honestly not even worth crying about it or throwing a tantrum over.

So saying that you wont continue playing the game that you have to pay for (we are all customers) is now threatening? You do know that people cancelling their subs without telling SE why are the worst for SE because they seemingly cant know why? That Yoshida himself has stated more than once that criticism of any kind is worth more than just compliments?

Those that go to a forum and post their thoughs on why they will probably stop playing care about the game....if they didnt they would just silently leave and be a monetary loss to SE.

SE also said more than enough that its not about the lore..

I don't know what country you're from, but in Europe, men don't usually have that physiognomy in general. They look like rickety teenagers, for God's sake.

I am from Germany so no I would say that they are the built of average men. Heck would you go and say that every japanese men (including Yoshida) is feminine?

It doesn't help that it's hinted that the female Hrothgar don't look like their males - this could be good or bad honestly.

I think this was only in the english version of the lore? But it would be pretty bad if they were quite different in their looks. Please just give us male Viera and female Hrothgar that look like they belong to the existing gender. No big difference like the Au Ra again. (Its funny and sad to see Au Ra male children next to my character...they are nearly the same height..)

That's how I anticipate it to really. I think it'd just be nice if they put a little bit of stylization on it so its not just a copy-paste of femroe since femroe and lala are the only different looking female models in this game.

I wouldn't worry, Hroth and Viera may share their skeleton with Roes and Elezen but that's about it. Neither is really a copy-paste.

That said, I plea Hrothgals have wider hips/thighs. Sorry to all femroes but you make Hank Hill feel good about his posterior.

Honestly, I don't mind waiting for the male viera/female hrothgar to be added in a later patch or expansion. The devs have a lot on their hands, and I'd enjoy seeing more customization options added to both species before then. I actually haven't seen all the hrothgar options, but I think the viera would really benefit from just having more hairstyles. There are hairstyles that are for every race, right? Was there ever a reason for not giving the viera those?

If we're talking female Hrothgar designs now, I'd honestly like to see them bigger than the males, really lean in to Queen of the Tiger people thing. Though at the end of the day any option that completes the set would be cool.

I still would like both added to the game eventually. I only pop into the lodestone occasionally then leave it for months so its nice to see this thread still going and people stil asking for what they want.
