SWTOR had a medic that shot people to heal them.

I played SWTOR for a few years, and yes it was the Operative that could heal by "shooting" and using tecnology. It was actually for a while the OP healer at the time. theres lots of things that can be done. Im still hoping for a reveal of a new healer

I was actually hoping the new healer could have been like the operative/scoundrel healers from swtor with a focus on HoT's and a few single target heals when it was needed. Right now the sorc/sage healer is the one that's OP anyway. XD
