Now, I addressed this in another post as more of a side comment- not fully fleshing it out. However, I must know...

Why do you refer to Square Enix as a single humanized entity with traits and emotions? SE is a major corporation with many branches. They publish manga, general merch and a multitude of games of many genres. East and West studios as well. You have Tomb Raider, Hitman, Just Cause and of course Final Fantasy.

I see many- many comments on sexism, homophobia and all these little agendas as though SE wakes up in the morning with a bad hangover, ready for another bottle of beer and ready hate the world. Is Tomb Raider homophobic? Does Just Cause have sexist traits? No, really.

Ronso and Viera both come from a source. Is FFX sexist, I don't remember any homophobia from FFXII either. I'm failing to understand how the lack of male viera is an attack on a sexuality when they didn't even exist in their source game. Physically anyway. And one must remember, these are SE properties. The staff of FFXIV walked on stage, and there are male and female designers and writers.

There is a woman sitting at her desk, writing ideas to pass to a co-worker right now about something cute that could be included for bunny girls. I would like to know how that is sexism towards women.
