    The windows event log you should be checking is the Administrative Events log under Custom View.

    As far as stable drivers go, I've been using 416.94 as per recommendation from some people on the Nvidia forums and tellingly, I haven't had a single DX11 related crash in weeks (It turned out I was actually crashing recently because of my GPU overheating...). Make sure your motherboard drivers are also up to date because that made the difference between me immediately crashing and things working smoothly at times.

    If you haven't already, make sure Windows Game Mode is turned off along with the Xbox Overlay, as both are known to cause problems. I'd also try adjusting both your Nvidia and PC settings to prioritize maximum performance if you haven't already and also link state management in advanced power settings.
