Can we please get a dev comment about servers being full?

um, you do realize you could apply for transfer now, and take it back ANY TIME YOU WANT before the 12th(i think it was the 12th) in case your friends dont make it in time right? no reason for you all to hold off until you can all do it at the exact same time

Its looking that way to me too. I just checked today and it now says that every single server is full except Ragnarok. This has seriously been made complicated for no reason at all. Leave it to SE to finally give us something we have needed in a way that helps only about 10% of the people playing, and 90% of the people NOT playing.

Because SE has only added enough slots ONE TIME in 24 hours to AGAIN have it fill up in minutes my LS is being torn apart due to the amount of ridiculous time and effort it takes to camp this stupid transfer system. What is happening is LS members are doubting SE will make it possible for them to move at all so some have switched back to the original server, causing everyone no matter which server they are on to question where they are moving. We all just want to play together and you are *#^%ing it all up.

TELL US when you are adding slots.
TELL US how many.
ADD MORE FREAKING SLOTS AND FASTER.

All this BS stress you are causing because you want the server populations to be equal plus or minus 10 players is freaking uncalled for. I am so close to quitting after playing since release because of stupid solutions like this by the dev team. The option from the very beginning would have been better than this.

also they arent updating once a day, its updated 3 times this morning already(ive been watching it, seen new servers open 3 times) and once last night(at the least i wasnt on most of last night) so your numbers on scewed

Its a ball ache, my friend wants to move server with 2 of her best friends, she wont leave them behind so all 3 of them have to sit there day after day just hitting refresh and hoping.

SE have done this in the most bullshit retarded way ever, its kind of dumb. I was lucky as soon as i got into work they opened and I was able to move, I am also lucky I dont have to wait for anyone, for those trying to move with friends its a nightmare.

Ved, explain why you think its acceptable to make, what should be a 5 min process for everyone in a game that is seriosly underpopulated, a 14 day process of baby sitting a website in hopes of going where we want to go? Please, enlighten the rest of us as to why we shouldn't be the least bit upset by all of this. I mean, just because your happy with your situation doesnt mean the rest of us are. Some of us havent been on super nifty servers that have stayed fairly full the entire time this game has been in the toilet, and would like the option to move where we would like to during a "world tranfer period". I could understand if this had gotten this way after 2 weeks of it being up, but its day 2 and I just checked the site, and every single server but Ragnarok is full. So now, if i want to move with my friends to another server, we have to check a website three times a day? Explain to me what about that is convienant please, otherwise shut the hell up. yet somehow i dont think its gonna be as big a problem as some thing

the main reason everythings full 99% of the time right now is because of the people camping it, the fact that everyone is still trying to get to where they want to go

as it tapers off over the next few weeks, youll see the servers even out, and some will constantly be at some form of open status


its like thinking like this, every hour, 100 tickets go on sale, 10,000 people want them
so at the end of the first day, 2400 people got them, and 7600 people are throwing a fit

every day less people need them, and less, and less, you may not get in day 1, but you will get in eventualy(unless of course the server was so popular not enough people ever truely transfered off it to begin with)


we are now in day 2, 17 days left, i can understand people panicking...but this early in the merge process its a bunch of overreacting, when we get to day 10...day 12...hell day 17 id say itl start to become a much more reasonable response


and if you really want to be with friends, nothing says you cant all just go to Ragnorok which seems to always be open....

because if they made it an unlimited transfer, the sevrers would remain lobsided as hell, thats why

youd still have the same issue in half the servers as you do now, is it really that hard to understand that?

youd end up with 3-4 overpopulated sevrers(like selbina was before compared to others) and then youd have the comparitive dead servers(dont know which ones these were, but i bet theyd still exist)

are you saying you approve of dead severs as long as you get to go where you personaly want to right now now now?



again, early in process, give it a week or 2, if you still cant go where you are going by then, yeah, you have more then enough reason to be whining the way you are now, but at this point, as i said, people are overreacting

anyone here can tell you i'm as far as you can get from being a yoshi apologist. i voice my displeasure anytime i do not like something, but i am also not a yoshi hater. to me, this was the best way to handle the merge. i think he is doing this the best way he could. the original way would have had the same issues as the one we are using now has.

this way at least only a small percentage of people are getting stuck trying to transfer and get stuck. the other method would have had most of the servers split. is this ideal? no, but when a game is in bad shape and server populations are dying then nothing is ideal. i wish the people trying to transfer over to other servers the best of luck getting where they wish to go, but this is one time i will give yoshi my full support because i think he did the right thing.
