Can we please get a dev comment about servers being full?

Just let the Europeans move out to Ragnarok, join them if you'd like, their (ours actually, I'm among them) exodus should free up spots on every other server and allow for some movement. It's only just now the first evening on the first day for Europeans, give em time to get back from work and notice the form, look again tomorrow or the next day, there's time, you know.

Not sure why SE needs to learn anything. They still get what they need out of this and, by caving to whiners, can't be blamed for a fiasco created by the players themselves.

The people who really need to learn are the forum goers who think they know more than they actually do. Not that this will actually happen. People will remain ignorant to their own stupidity or why this is their fault (complaining, crying, and demanding answers from SE the whole time) and history will repeat itself eventually.

Bayohne must have threw up in his mouth a little to even have to write that apology note. If I were him it would have read more like: "Dear players, I'm sorry you are so stupid. Love, Bayohne."

Though, I must say, this is truly the most entertaining thing that has happened here since the announcement of sub fees.

- SE should have considered only the number of active accounts in their calculations (because a big portion of inactive accounts will remain inactive).

Taking in their calculations the enormous inactive accounts database is the big problem here.

And no, SE will not ''get what they need out of this''. Being the only server with no inactive accounts, every LS willing to move will end up in Ragnarok... it will be so over-crowded that they'll have to make a second merge before the 2.0.

All SE needs out of this is to condense servers and increase population across the board. It matters little who individually ends up where from their perspective. Guess what? Target achieved.

Condensing by creating an over-populated server? I don't think this is what they had in mind. They let the Selbina server alone for that purpose. Ragnarok will quickly become the exit strategy of choice for all linkshells trying to move (not just EU). The problem resides in Linkshells using this as a World Transfer Application program which is clearly not the case.

As for the part about keeping the communities together when moving, it's clearly not their primary objective.

On the inactive accounts, they should have just moved them automatically but they shouldn't be in their calculations for the cap space on each server. It's like annexing two cities together and counting the dead bodies in the graveyard in the population of the new city.... it doesn't really make sense.

Seriously delete the inactive accounts over a year old they are not coming back and who cares about them i sure don't or anyone i know either
