Can we please get a dev comment about servers being full?

In regards to the situation where multiple Worlds are showing as full, I wanted to let you all know that the population data on Lodestone is not shown in real time, and actually updates a few times throughout the day. Worlds that show as being full now, may not be later in the day. That said, we would ask that you please check back periodically to see whether or not the World you wish to transfer to is open.

looks like lot of people are left with the only option to sit at their computer and refresh the page every here and then... like Mrfox0707 said, update time would be nice.

There's a good chance it could update at different intervals or under specific conditions rather than a set time, rule of the thumb is to check during 8am - 12pm time frames (this seems to be default database refresh time frames.)

Yeahhhhhhh, so what part of this system is so superior to option 4 again? I hope people that blasted on me for backing option 4 get stuck somewhere they don't want to be because this current system blows. At least with 4 all servers would have started empty. Sometimes I think its a mistake to listen to the people that post on this site. And yet, its some of those same people that are responsible for getting 2.0 made. Paradox sux. Heres hoping I can get into the server I wanted to at some point later this week. Good call with this option though community, you all sure know how to pick em!

Buncha friends of mine are on Masamune, thats the one I am waiting for. My point is though, what could have been something simple, like logging in, picking the world I wanted, and moving on is now replaced with some shitty system where I get to hit refresh every few hours in hopes of going where I want to. And all because the server I want is currently 2 merged servers full of a bunch of assholes that arent even playing the game right now. This is totally top notch stuff here. Just checked the server page and 4 out of the total servers have limited space right now, the rest are closed.

I suppose my other question is, so next month, after everyone has moved and the server transfer is done, what happens to people that make brand new characters? Will they only be able to pick from 3 servers that arent full? Or, and this is what I suspect will be the case, will they be able to get on ANY one of these servers no problem, while those of us that have supported this game since launch get the shaft yet again? I have never seen any company, claim to stick by and support loyal customers while actually doing the complete opposite the entire time. Well done here SE. Kudos again!
