Request: Please add more incentives for Mentor Roulette

The rewards for Mentor roulette are kind of pitiful... Even just adding a Cracked Cluster for being an Adventurer In Need for Mentor Roulette would help a ton.
As it is, I don't really have a reason to do it other than helping players out. I love helping people, but I would like to get rewarded for my assistance.
There probably won't be anything done, but I'm just throwing my two cents out there.

Personally I think the mentor roulette tome rewards should be dynamic and match the content. Get Bismarck HM, trial roulette rewards. Get LotA, alliance roulette rewards. Dusk Vigil, leveling roulette rewards, etc. Right now the mentor roulette rewards are stupidly low and it's very annoying to spend 45 minutes in Dun Scaith only to leave with fewer tomes than a 5 minute trial roulette.

I get the idea of helping people being its own reward, but come on. 30/10 is insultingly low.

I think it'd encourage the loot grabbing crowd too much.I see so many people running around with the mount just to show off- no wanting to help players included.

I would also like to see the daily limitation on the tomes removed - since the mento roulette isnt meant to be used to cap in the first place, I dont see why the daily limit should apply here.

It would also be nice to get points counting towards your achievement if a vote abondon passes after a certain amount of time has elapased OR if the duty-timer runs out. I've been in ARR-Ex-primal parties who learned a lot, progressed a lot, yet they didnt manage to get the kill in the end. And sure, its a nice feeling to walk away from an hour of sweat and tears, knowing that 7 other people have at least a better understanding of the fight... but besides that you get NOTHING to show for it.

I'd also like to see either flat out new rewards for commendations OR a second commendation-system that is tied to commendations you earn as a mentor using the mentor roulette. That would also work as an incentive to be a good/proper mentor.

The issue with having more rewards for Mentor Roulette, is that it's already too easy to become a Mentor so you get people who end up doing the Roulette for the rewards, irregardless of if they care about helping others actually learn or not.

Until they can make it so that becoming a Mentor is only possible by people who are willing and able to aid others, having more rewards will just have a negative effect by drawing more selfish players to do it just for the rewards (Including just leaving if they end up in a duty that they don't like, such as difficult content)

While it's easy to get mentor status, getting the roulette unlocked requires that you're current with all of the latest non-progression content. So someone with a 70 crafter won't necessarily have the roulette unlocked unless they've also cleared through Wreath of Snakes and Orbonne.

I mean the mentor Roulette does have an achievement to aim towards, completing 2000 runs nets you a 2 seater mount, which are not that easy to obtain to begin with. So there is that, but I feel that should be more rewards for putting up with it if a player decides to complete so many to begin with. Regardless of what roulette it is, players may go there for the reward with little intention of helping anyway so I don't think this is limited to Mentor.

That's honestly the sole purpose SE intended. They wanted people who wanted to help to use it and not people who wanted to be rewarded for it. Even though it has achievements they purposely made the number of runs prohibitive to dissuade people from doing it just for rewards.

If you're a mentor for any reason other than for helping people, then you shouldn't be a mentor. That's why we already have so many terrible ones - because they want the mount and the crown.

I was going to say almost exactly this. If greater incentives will get more people to do mentor roulettes, all you're going to get is greedy, selfish people who want it for the rewards and not to just help people. There should be no loot or rewards for being a mentor honestly, except maybe a title or something. Most mentors can't even spell altruism, let alone know what it means.
