Naming Conventions and Issues with specifically, grossly blasphemous quests

Hello, I am sorry to trouble anyone, but I just wanted to make a request in regards to for example certain "Primals" whose names, etc., are seemingly "borrowed" from other religions, most specifically Hinduism and Buddhism to some extent. Some of the "Primals" which are "mandatorily" included in the "MSQ" are named after and in some regards somewhat less than vague homages to really important Hindu deities per se, and religious themes, and they are portrayed in a less than favorable light, and in a sense, attacked in effigy in various regards, and personally I find this quite "unwelcome" in a video game etc. I was wondering if options could be added to the game that would allow either the renaming of these "Primals" in question, or at least, perhaps the opportunity to "skip" these associated "quests" etc. I believe the most glaring example of this is "Lakshmi" who is associated with "Snake people" who are literally referred to as the "Ananta", and all of the symbolism around this is far too specifically similar to associations in regards to the the actual deity per se, and the representations/associations thereof. Hence, as some players of this game might be spiritual people, this might be a very unwelcome situation to be put in, and really kind of unscrupulous in a sense perhaps to do this to the players of your game, e.g. to essentially ask them to commit extraordinarily blasphemous virtual deeds to progress through your story line, and hence, if some other options for said quests were given I believe that this would be very appropriate and welcome, in regards to these situations. Thank you for your time, sorry to trouble anyone, thank you. As an aside, this isn't that many "quests"/"Primals" in this category and I believe that "other substitute quests"/"quest skip options" might not have much of an impact on the rest of the game possibly. In any case, thank you very much for your time.

-Edit to mention that upon reflection, may just not play anyway, that such content was included in a game to begin with is I think extremely insulting, and rude, and disrespectful of others potential religious beliefs, this isn't some like some obscure religious cult here, this is one of the world's largest collections of spiritual religious individuals in general(in discussing all of the followers of Buddhism and Hinduism etc.), and one of the more significant religions/spiritual schools of the world, whether a "skip" is added or not, I believe that including this item/quest in the quest line to begin with is enough of a sign to me, that perhaps this game just isn't for me, in any case, thanks and take care.

It took you 'til Lakshmi to notice the game's primals all borrow heavily from various cultures? Just, whizzed right past Ifrit, Garuda, Leviathan, Ramuh, Odin, Shiva, Nidhogg, Bahamut. Almost every single one. Went right by ya huh.

Religious themes are present in almost every form of media. Japanese media in particular really loves borrowing from foreign mythology; Neon Genesis Evangelion was dripping in Christian imagery for no reason other than the creators thought it was super aesthetic. Back in the 90s Squaresoft had a game called Parasite Eve, and I'm sure you can guess which mythological Eve it was referencing. Most of these primals have had incarnations in Final Fantasy games for the last 30-odd years. I don't expect them to go anywhere soon.

Besides, even in-universe, the primals are all bastardisations of the "real" in-universe deities. They're even called eikons. You're not fighting Lakshmi, you're fighting a constructed, warped, fanatical, fake version of her. It's a pretty major plot moment in HW.

Oh yeah I remember when that Hindu deity of destruction was materialized as a Mortal Kombat character.

    Umm... where to begin.

I can understand where you're coming from to a point, but what you're asking for is quite silly. With the logic you are bringing in one could say that Killing Virtual animals in the game is blashphemous to Vegans, or fighting other people is blasphemous to people who have taken a vow of peace and there should be no killing in the game. It may as well be a Farming Simulator at that point, with only plants as farmable goods.

This is a Game, any use of Real Life names are strictly a nod or homage and not to be taken literal. Hell Shiva and Garuda are female in the Final Fantasy Universe. Next I assume you'll be wanting to take out all of the Voidsent especially those with Biblical names because Christians will feel like they are ungodly and shouldn't be represented in their media.

Also Remember, for the most part, the Beastmen have summoned their Primals as a reflex to being attacked by the Garleans. Their Primals are not Benevolent but act the way they do due to the feelings of their followers at the time of the summoning. So if they are painted in a different light than you'd expect, it's because they have been called for under duress and are acting as such.

Well OP I wonder what you think about the Shin Megami Tensei series, that literally takes a multitude of things from lore, religion and mythology from around the world. Final Fantasy games have always been tame in comparison.
