I'm going to be laughing all the way to the unsubscribe button if Raubahn (Savage) happens despite this split... Imagine screwing over vast numbers of your playerbase for no reason whatsoever...
If that happens, it's proof that a lot of people unsubbed until expac and that SE made the right decision to split.
