    The system report is for the current Alienware 17r4.

    NVidia support called the other day and had me try the new drivers and video the stuttering, and how it doesn't stutter with the older drivers. As for working on a known issue, they've been saying that to me for months in email, in regards to their drivers not working properly for FFXIV in 4k mode and this stutter that I have - but it's been over a year now.

    It's basically a software issue, or the old drivers would have the same problem. I think Nvidia is trying to figure out if it's an issue with how SE has programmed the game or an issue with their drivers.. but it's taking WAY too long.

    I'm coming in here to say I'm about to try your older driver "solution" (this needs to be actually fixed, but in the short term I am 100% willing to use an old driver to just be able to play, ugh!) - I hadn't realized what to call the issue I've had but stuttering is a good word for it! I have that and if it doesn't catch itself it turns into a crash (though there's also less clear crashes, and on DX9 I have a similar issue but it generally doesn't crash - just stutters into a freeze (just video, not audio or actual gameplay), and unless I can unfreeze it I have to pull the plug to go on. I have the Nvidia GTX 1050 and I've had this issue since the first day I started the game, at like... the very beginning of the year basically? And it's only gotten more severe over time.

    Not that it's not clear a LOT of people are having this or similar issues, I'm just not super tech savvy so on top of my own tech support thread I'm piggy backing here to try and get this even temporarily mended. \:

    Edit: It ran for approx. 2 hours without issue (both just standing around, or while fighting some fireflies, just to see) before suddenly yeah, an error (110000022). Was running better than ever prior to that though, so that's something, I guess.

    I suspect that error was random. Glad to hear you were able to play for 2 hours! I haven’t heard back from Nvidia since sending in the video of the issue, I hope this is fixed soon. It’s ridiculous.

    Well, see, I'd have thought so too but it kept happening \: And I've tried like 12 other things in the past 48 hours and nothing is working (including going back to DirectX9, because then instead of Fatal Errors I just visual freezes which also render the game unplayable). I'm sure there's some connection between the issues, and also frankly I think trying to run this game and whatever the issue is is the reason my graphics card is beginning to have issues (as the only times is has happened have been connected to Blue Screens triggered by the game), so... idk I'm just stuck.

    Even, temporarily, completely uninstalled my specific virus protector but that hasn't mended it so yeah 0 this isn't just getting, it's been ridiculous! It looks like this issue has been years long for some people. ):

    What is the exact error with the code you provided? I’m surprised it’s still crashing. Neither my 1070 norm1080ti crash with those drivers.

    I would maybe go to device manager and delete all the video drivers. Reboot and do a clean install of the March 2018 driver.

    The one time I had it crash with those drivers, the new drivers snuck back on.. so I had to do a clean install.

    The code? It's 11000002, each time. It's more or less the only error I'm getting now. It's not consistently triggered either, I actually, on a clean install of the newest drivers (trying everything lol), managed to get about an hour of gameplay, including a duty that had previously killed it the night before, but then it still got it just from clicking away and back. And now back to 0 success getting in even, lol.

    I'll try that though, though may have to wait until tomorrow before work. Curiosities sake, since I've had trouble finding that exact driver (think I got it once), do you happen to have a link for the one that's working for you?

    Edit: Ah that Driver was 32 and I'm on 64. I got the 64 version and running in DX9 I got... 40 minutes of just letting the game idle before it started going weird and then freezing, and then I tried again back on DX11, even restored settings to default aside from setting graphics to standard instead of high and it won't even let me in. >:/ Same 11000002 error.
    For curiosities sakes gonna try on high. But sort of exhausted the options it looks like.

    sorry I didn't notice that was the 32bit driver. I'm sure the 64bit is there too somewhere.
