At least do an animation for turning.. It just flips the character ... Super fast.. Moving animations on this game are awsome... Why just flip it like that ..
I really hope we dont have to be facing a mob to be able to cast on it.
I'm a little confused why people are saying Burst looks weak. I see people all the time now talk about the strength of Thundara, and Burst is 40% stronger then that in the video, and not even at full strength. If it's because of the 15min recast, I suppose I can understand that. However, using Ifrit as an example, does anyone remember the days of > 20% HP Ifrit Chaos Thrust would drop his HP very fast? Imagine what 5-6 Burst would do to him.

It's not or it would have been brought up already. I think the facing thing is to make it easier while soloing, you can only parry from the front and it feels like you get interrupted less if you're attacked from the front. Also it makes it easier to stop moving if you're mouse/kb and using autorun.

or it could have been done really fast, here there is no animation at all. I don't mind, but it looks super wierd...

Not being a Mage myself nor have I fought Ifrit yet so I may be wrong but the bolded part sounds like a good thing...is it?When the Face Target option is activated, the player character will immediately turn to face the main target. If the player character is in motion when Face Target is activated, the character will come to an immediate halt.
I interpret that to mean you can run towards a player who needs a Cure and hit H to lock on, halt and cast.
Papa was a rolling stone...wherever he laid his barbut was home.
