    Biggest factor in many deaths on games are caused by peoples own stupidity. But they won't blame themselves. Now when the whm's get Eruptions under them with a tank low on hp or w/e and ends up dead. It's gonna = "Ifrit's to hard because of spell interruption." Just like Ifrit was to "hard" when combos came out.

    Go play any other MMO, WoW has much harder fights but its not f***ed up with crappy animation locks, yes its probably partly players fault for not timing their attacks, but should we really have to time attacks like this to compensate for a shit server and animation locks...

    Personally I think not.

    There is no excuse for SE not to remove animation locks either, they removed them when taking out weapon whilst running its no different, of course it probably comes down to not having time.

    If you are going to make a boss fight with time sensitive attacks then you have to give players the ability to dodge them at a moments notice.

    Agreed. The new sub-targeting option is a good thing, I don't see the need for the rest of the changes.

    Not real sure why you are getting upset. I'm not talking about the animation locks, lag ect. People know how to overcome them. To most they are not an issue anymore. I don't agree with it myself.

    What I'm getting at. Is spell interruption is going to add another problem to ifrit fight for some people. The same way when Combos 1st came out people complained it made ifrit fight harder. (go find the threads)

    I agree, other games do not have animation locks or whatever, but animation lock is the ONLY challenge during the Ifrit fight.

    You can avoid plumes by standing on safe spots. If you have no animation lock it is very easy to run away from eruptions. That leaves pressing Sentinel when he does Hellfire and thats about it.

    Ifrit without animation lock would be a joke. Not sure if it was meant to be this way, but again Ifrit without animation lock would be like killing Leaping Lizzy with a lv99 BLM.

    Fair enough I misunderstood you then :P

    I'm not sure it will be a huge problem, mages should be standing still as much as possible to regenerate mana, in cases like moogle, have 2 CNJ one at each end of the arena so everyone should be in healing range.

    Developer has to design content around broken server, just like we have to learn how to play on a broken server.

    Blame the original dev team who decided using these crap servers was a good idea.

    Of course. which brings me back to the point of Stupidity of people. I ran Ifrit a couple days ago with a thm that kept using fire instead of thunder. Never underestimate how stupid some people can be. lol

    Exactly, thats the whole problem and some people seem to forget that or simply refuse to accept it. The game is still broken. What Yoshi did with it so far is really amazing and I really have a lots of respect for the way he handled it, but it is still broken and it will stay broken until 2.0.

    Even if it is broken I am enjoying it, so not complaining, since I accepted it and adjusted my expectations accordingly. Some people expext too much and then cry like babies when they do not get it.
