Should the Yokai Watch event return?

Honestly, I don't know. It isn't exactly a much loved event. I think I would rather them put more effort into something new.

They already have the event in the system, they just need to turn it on again. I think it would be great if they did. There are like 12 minions that are not obtainable but yet it's totally possible to do the monster hunter event at any time. Just have it activate by an inconspicuous NPC somewhere.

If SE wanted to do another yokai event i would rather want SE to team up with level-5 for a mass collaboration for something with white knight chronicles ( a game i feel needs more love in the west) they could hold rewards focusing on level-5's main game lines

as for the yokai event we have had twice now, no it is very outdated and not very liked, plus SE wouldn't be the ones to give the go ahead since level-5 would need to agree to it.

The main difference I'd see is that all of the Lightning stuff is available on the Mog Station while the Yo-Kai stuff aint.
Still I'm not against them bringing back all past events as a recurring thing but that would cut into cash shop profits so I have my doubts they'd do it.

With the release of the new Yokai Watch game coming later this year in 2019 I've been wondering if it's possible the Yokai Watch event in FFXIV could/should return as a crossover event to celebrate the release of the new game along with Shadowbringer?

I got all the rewards myself in 2017, but after a mix up with buying Stormblood off Steam instead of direct from SE I've had to start a new account and I miss all my minions I really hope they bring the event back again and hopefully with additional minions and rewards for the new classes that have been released since 2017.

Yokai Watch to return? No, please no... For one, it wasn't fun. More minions tho, that's always a plus.

I need this event so bad! I am a huge yokai fan and i keep seeing people with the mounts and minions and i just- ughhh i know its most likely not going to come back but i sure wish it would. literally every five minutes someone has a minion or mount, it’s taunting me and i’m sad i missed out.

I wish they would update the single handed ff13 mage weapons and make them tradable for a two handed version. Or enable single hand glamours for two hand weapons. Or bring back shield mages.

And the blazefire saber should really be usable by gnb.

Well, I still yet to complete my yokai weapon and minions, so I'll be happy if they going to bring this event back (and I know some of my friends will do as well)
Might be fun now considering there's blue mage everywhere...
