I'm not against it, but I wouldn't participate, either. The event is too tedious for me.

Yo-kai may be one of the worst grinds in the game (800 FATEs or so to finish.) Eureka and light farming might seem easy and fun by comparison.
Sure, just make it a permanent crossover event like Monster Hunter, that way players can just dip in to it whenever they want without a 3 month timer (or however long it went for). It's also something extra to work towards for those that choose to use FATEs for leveling up Blue Mage.
I'd likely end up ignoring it for the third time but I'm not against bringing it back either.
I really like it, but Yokai Watch is in a really weird place right now. It's never really been too popular in the west and I've heard it's popularity is waning in Japan as well.
There's a "revival" series coming out this year though (after the weird "Shadowside" anime they aired), so maybe it'll pick up more traction and we'll see the event again?
I have other alts I could grind it out on. Dont know if I'd go past the minions though. Doing that twice (once each time) was crazy enough.
I got my glowing mount from it. So unless they add weapon glamours for jobs not present on its first run and minions to base them off of it will be ignored because there aren't any new rewards for me.
However having it in game doesn't hurt anything unless we can confirm that we aren't getting a new event simply because they don't want multiple events running at the same time.
I see no reason why not.
Returning the event shouldn't prevent them from adding new content. I'm not sure why people are saying they'd prefer new content as if it were a choice between them.
It's a grind, but it's also a ton of minions and a shame to lock new players out from them entirely. Perhaps it would be better to just make it permanent like Rathalos so players can take their time and go through the fates at their own pace.
I managed to finish it on my main.
Have no interest in participating in it again.
But I don't care if it comes back, there's always people joining who haven't done these types of things.
Oh God, please no. Enough is enough. Something better than that needs to be done.
