AppHangB1 almost every time i alt-tab

I get these almost every time I alt-tab, restarting the computer fixes it for a while and then it starts to act up again. I'm running Win7 SP1, AMD FX-6300, a GEForce GTX 750Ti, drivers were all updated last week after I started experiencing this constantly, instead of once every few days.

What is the exact error you are experiencing? Also where are you experiencing this? Is this something that happens on the Final Fantasy XIV game launcher Could you provide a screen shot of the error message in your next reply?

I copy-pasted the text from the error message in the original post. It happens when I'm in-game, well past the launcher phase. I'll be idling in Lavender Beds, for example, either inside or outside a house, I'll tab out to do something, and when I try to tab back in to the game it's all locked up and I get the app hang error.

Zerahn, how long have you experienced this issue? Were any changes made to the PC recently (updates)? Is Final Fantasy XIV, the only game that causes this?

It's been happening since FFXIV's last big patch, which also were the only changes made. Windows Update seemed to have mysteriously disappeared from my computer so it sure didn't perform any updates, but I got it back and updated everything and also ran virus and spyware scans. I haven't made any hardware changes for two or three years. It's the only game that experiences the hang, and it's happened with nothing else running. I'd tab over to the desktop cuz there was nothing else available, and couldn't get back to the game.

Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
