Blue mage:

How often do I play mine? I dont.

Am I enjoying it? It got my chocobo to level 20 in a couple hours, that was pretty neat.

Have I played Blue Mage more than a normal job? No. I think I did the carnivale a couple times. I gave up on that after I couldn't get the primal spells I wanted in a reasonable time. I'll probably do it when blue mage can hit 60 or 70 and just solo them.

Should Blue Mage be improved? Yes.

Do I see blue mages? In that one spot in Uldah every now and then.

Would Blue Mage exist as a normal class? Not with Dancer as a thing now lol.


Blue Mage was fun for like 2 days at which point it became a tedious slog and required grabbing friends to carry you through content to learn spells you need to get an achievement that gives you a title.


On the plus side, it got my chocobo to 20 really fast. That's the big get from blue mage.
