Two Months of BLU: Discuss!

Are you still playing BLU? How often? How long? Ever?

That's a negative from me. I haven't touched it since Week 3 of release when I was still attempting to get primal skills.

Are you still enjoying BLU as a limited job?

Since I'm not playing around with it, I'll say that I'm probably not enjoying it as a limited job. It doesn't have staying power.

The past two months, have you played BLU more this way than you would have if it was a normal FFXIV Job?

I'd probably play BLU more if I could take it into Duty Finder like any other job. It would be something I could flex when I got tired of playing a healer.

Should BLU be improved on as a limited job or scrapped and made into a real job?

They need to do something to increase its staying power. Masked Carnivale doesn't seem to be enough, especially since the rewards are a bit meh, in my opinion - I can easily find other sources for Poetics and I don't need Allied Seals.

Do you still see BLUs out in the open world or in the part finder?

I don't see any in the open world hardly; I don't particularly look for BLU parties when I'm in PF.

Do you feel as though BLU would not exist unless it was a limited job?

No, I think they could have made it an actual job while still finding a way to keep that "BLU feel" with learning its spells. They would have had to put in restrictions of some sort to make sure level 50 (or 60 or 70) BLUs were queuing into level 50/60/70 content with a decent repertoire of skills, but at least I'd probably see them around a bit more.
