Lazy For You in East Shroud? You're synched to level 22 to fight a level 20 boss and not even Lv. 5 Petrify works against it let alone Tail Screw, Missile, or Doom.

It's Not Lupus in Eastern La Noscea? Lv. 5 Petrify doesn't work on it anyways due to its level, but neither do the other abilities.

I missiled Tail Screw'd Gorgimera to death just to mail the minion to a friend saying it's literally the only thing BLU is good for.
I'm praying that dumb boss FATE in Dravanian Forelands isn't immune to Doom because it prevents the FATE needed to spawn the S rank from showing up as long as it's active.

It was a pretty bad idea to lock half the abilities behind EX primals and group content when it was supposed to be solo content.

This is pretty much my biggest issue, I can't get the last few abilities because no one is interested in farming them anymore. My next biggest issue is that BLU is not the broken, so OP it couldn't be a normal job, job that was promised. Everything feels weak, like the potencies need to be cranked to the maximum, or there needs to be more interaction between spells to improve this.

It's almost 2 months of me ignoring it because there's nothing to do with it except blow up in town, and I don't even do that anymore.

It was sorta fun up until level 30ish (perhaps not coincidentally when the Brand New Ring bonus exp stops, and I don't have any bonus earrings). Leveled up quick and easy, plenty of spells to pick up as you manage to improve your survival skills. By about level 35, I'd picked up just about all the open world spells available (everything except Loom, I think, and technically Dragon/Ram, if Gorgimera was done more often).

After that point, it becomes tedious. Grinding out levels until you hit the limit for the next dungeon that might have a skill until 50, when I assume it might be a little less terrible just for having more options to try to learn. As is, I've really only got enough energy for it to just zip around for easy low level boss FATEs to knock out with a few thousand needles to clear that entry in the challenge log.

The overworld leveling and skill gathering was actually pretty fun, shame that aspect of it is about done by level 30. There are some enemies higher than that but not many.

Really feel BLU could have benefited from a class/job split.

Class BLU as a "Limited class," can't queue, mob XP bonus, can mix and match whatever spells, total freedom with Carnivale as end-game.

Job BLU as a normal caster DPS unlocking at level 30, with tiered duty finder 'unlocks'.
Get BLU to 30, gather all the pre-30 skills, unlocks DF for 15-50.
Get BLU to 50, gather the pre-50 skills, unlocks DF for 51-60.
    Etc. until cap.
Job BLU could also have a more set rotation where it has to equip a combo, an AoE, a buff, etc.

Literally, by 35 (maybe even a couple levels lower), I'd gotten everything except Loom, from the B rank in North Thanalan. Between Mighty Guard, White Wind, and 1000 Needles, every other skill was pretty easy to come by. Which kinda limits how much you could improve that open world experience. More skills scattered around really wouldn't have helped any, because if you can get something like Drill Cannon at such a low level, you could get anything else.

Other than that, any idea that involves "make BLU as is, but also make an extra version of BLU with all the balancing necessary" just sounds like "do the work of making two jobs for this one job."

The work of making two jobs?

lol, they haven't even made one job yet, they made a mini-game with a /vpose.

To be honest... I forgot it was even in the game until like a day ago when I noticed the job symbol there in my saved gear sets. I switched to it just to mess with the poses and then went back to a non-limited job to actually do stuff.

The primal skill drop rates is a huge barrier for me, given that not many want to spam them for BLU, it just doesn't seem feasible until they nerf it.

Masked Carnivale: Not that interesting, would feel better if I had all the skills, see above.

Basically waiting for RNG nerf and potency buffs, then I'll be inclined to play it again.
