Creepy ffxiv Bots

so here i was running from one crystal to another. when i passed by cedar wood i happened on these 2 groups of bots

the first group is obviously a broken bot stuck in a loop as they keep cycling what they are looking at like someone holding down the tab button

the second group is about the same as the other except this grrop has linkshell tags that are just as random as their names are. the second group also is activating leve's but not doing anything




the full group about 12 in all ( apple and men are normal people that happened to be standing around )

group one :

which brings me to my main question. if Sqex has such a negative view on botting why is there no easy way to report bots from in-game?

Long answer: Because they don't care of RMT-BOTs until 2.0 since they are paying the suscription now and SE need cash.

Dokf Skid has been a bot "ringleader" on Figaro since f'in release. He always leads around 7 Lalafell and does leves to get gil, likely to sell it. He always ranks up only CON/THM too. He's been banned I think 3 times, and always picks the same name again, and does the same crap again (which is pretty dumb since if you Google his name he's a pretty famous botter).

What really gets me though is that he's already been banned multiple times, you'd think there would be eyes on him 24/7 after he creates a new account.

Edit: Your video is some straight Children of the Corn stuff right there. Watch that in a loop for about 5-10 minutes and go to bed. It'll be an experience you won't soon forget.

how do you know they are bots? where is your proof? are you in the same room as the machines running those accounts?

i think the continues loop of tab > esc > tab > esc is the cause of concern. Botting crafting there is no proof there really, saying "i /t and they didnt reply" is not legit, not heard of a gamepad on background mode?

Then theres the lovely Rapid Fire controller debate XD

They could just be a bunch of different players from different parts of the world who coincidentally made similar looking characters, doing the same task, in the same area, and all lack a linkshell.

I'll need more proof, before I investigate this matter further.
