Gunbreaker Holster

I had given it some thought as to how Gunbreaker's would have their weapons holstered on their body. After some careful though, I'd have to say that having their weapon sheathed on their lower back (horizontally), like Fayt Leingod & others from the Star Ocean franchise, would stand out in my eyes. Instead of holstering it on their back or sides like Dark Knight/Warrior & Paladin respectively, I feel as though this would give it a "unique" look/approach compared to the tanks we currently have at our disposal.

I would imagine a Gunbreaker grabbing the sword, unsheathing it & spinning/twirling once it in an upward motion before resting it on their shoulder (the way they rest it on their shoulder in the Gunbreaker reveal trailer).

Always welcome to hear your thoughts with whether you like it or not; maybe some of your own feedback on what you envision for Gunbreaker as well.

That would look pretty cool, be unique to Gunbreaker too I think.

I suspect though, based on the trailer, that we're getting the standard 'across the back' holstered position.

I think Luke from Tales of the Abyss has his sword in a similar position when sheathed.
I would like it because it would be unique for Gunbreaker, instead of the same position for every other job.
Probably not happening though.

The Norvaine school of swordsmanship teaches you to sheathe the blade in your opponents. Still working on the rust problem, but it's otherwise working out fine.

Also, he was a mute protagonist... Who actually had a reason for being mute xD

Since his pact mark was on his tongue and prevented his speech once the pact was made (You'd think it'd need to be on his neck/vocal chords but whatever, I guess that was reserved for Inuart...)

Some interesting concepts in that game. What with the way pact marks worked... Gain power, but lose something in return (That you don't know until after you made the pact).

Though, Caim certainly won the lottery with his pact... Only losing his speech and getting a pact with a freaking DRAGON. (Meanwhile Leonard over there lost his sight for a pact with a Fairy... Also, the less said about Arioch the better given how cruel her pact price ended up being...)

I wouldnt get your hopes up for anything. Armor is designed with the back holster in mind as it is used by practically everyone. Every single battle skirt would clip the fudge out of that. And there are a lot of battle skirts.
