i don't have any complaints with the merger. Im happy with it. I just don't like when people tell people to stfu, if people didn't get on the server they wanted they have th right to voice their concerns. You have the right to not read them. To tell people they made their bed now lay in it and stfu is just unnecessary imo.

Yeah, we all know that we shouldn't care about inactives who are easier to turn customer again than completely new customers.

This game is gonna be successful for years with its current playerbase, so nothing shall be done with a greater vision than satisfying the current playerbase that accepted to pay on the road to 2.0 fully knowing this kind of thing will happen.

Yes they are priority, that's what the community wanted and why they were against option 4. That and they didn't have contact with friends outside of the game to coordinate and say:

"Hey buddy, let's go to world 3, k? k."

I couldn't care less about inactives myself, but I personally didn't want the current player pool from my server to be broken up.

Just saying, there are other reason's to want this method of a merger than just "not screwing over inactive players"

While true, if you look back on the "Not option 4!" "But what about people who come back? blah blah" threads, that isn't the main reason, the main reason is because they somehow have zero contact with "friends" outside of the game.

I supported a full Server to server move and no one moves at all, yes people are inactive but in the long run, but i don't think SE based this decision on inactives, I may be wrong though. We shall see when the actual merge happens and how the population is.

I suspect we will see some updates regarding this. Ragnarok may be their target migration server since that population would have started out at 0 in its creation. I suspect people and their mules populated a lot more space than anticipated. And that EU players did not flock over to Ragnarok also as anticipated.

When a server "fills" with transfers, will inactive accounts that have said server as their default merge server be moved to another (lower population) server? Or do the inactive accounts get moved to their default server in the merge regardless?

Would like to know. Don't see the answer to this anywhere.

I told you all... That the game sold 500.000 copies approximately. Meaning 500.000 people spread all over. People laughed about it. Now it's my turn. Kefka laugh on all of you that didn't move because of full worlds. WHOOhohohoohhoho. /kefka laugh out.
