Older gamers

Will it be easier to find folks from other servers (on same datacenter) when they let us party cross-server? Like will we be able to find them on a search function?

We totally need an 'Older Gamers Link Shell' on Crystal. I have never created a link shell though.

You can already party cross-server using the party finder, but when the server visit is implemented, you can visit your friends on their world.

I have no idea if I'm considered 'old' in FFXIV, being 32 (but hey I grew up with FF games, at least played all of the main games except 13). But I often find myself somewhat lonely on this game; I was wondering if there are other older folks who would want to add me as a friend? Just for chatting or random duties etc. I feel pretty pathetic that I hardly have any friends on the game. XD But yeah... only adults please!

I'm on at random times, and main astro... trying to level everything else though right now. Character is who I'm posting as.

Also looking for a mature laid back FC too; but obviously need to be on the right server, I'm not planning on changing any time soon.

OMG 31 is not old, the average age of gamers is higher than that now.

Anyway there is a different between being old and acting mature.

I have played with people that are 15 that act more mature than someone who is 35.

I have no issues with younger people or playing with them either.

I do get what you are saying and that is why I was out of a FC for so long.

Trying to find one that didn't have drama or people acting like children is not easy sometimes. It only takes a couple to ruin it too..

When I played FFXI I ended up in a LS/FC that was very mature and it was great. Took me many years to find one but I did.
Played FFXI for 10 years and play FFXIV since beta on and off.
Now in my low 50's but I am not the oldest in my FFXIV FC.

38 here. Been playing side 1.0 and prior to that ffxi since launch. I do sometime think when in parties now man I'm too old for this sh@!.. seeing all these younguns doing w/e the hell they're doing. But you know what I still enjoy it, my patience has thinned with time a little, but I still help out as much as I can I do get called gandpa or old man Bracken. In the FC sometimes, and I really don't mind it, I consider it a form of respect. I love the game and its people .... On a note had to think hard on how old I was before posting this XD.. old age for you
